Why MBBS Scholarships are required by Indian Students?
The cost of medical education is way higher than any other courses if you are seeking admission to any private college. The average cost to study MBBS/ BDS and other medical courses in government colleges is around INR 10,000 to INR 30,000 annually. Whereas the average fees to study medicine in private colleges in India ranges between Rs. 10 to Rs.20 Lacs annually. One of the main reasons behind high fees in private colleges is that the number of seats available against the candidates appearing for NEET (medical exam) is very less. Out of 67,000 medical seats, only 31,000 seats are available to study in the government medical colleges which include both central and state. Due to this majority of medical students in India look for MBBS scholarships to support their education.
