TS LAWCET 2024 Cut Off, Merit List, Qualifying Marks

Candidates who will be appearing for TS LAWCET 2024 on June 3, 2024 might be wondering what will be the qualifying marks for the exam. The exams will be conducted separately for both 3-year and 5-year law courses and the merit list for the 3-year and the 5-year LL.B programmes are released separately on the official website of the exam after the announcement of the result. TS LAWCET 2024 result will be released by the Osmania University, Hyderabad on the official website, lawcet.tsche.ac after the exam concludes.

TS LAWCET is conducted by Osmania University on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) every year. TS LAWCET is accepted by many law colleges in Telangana for selecting candidates for their 3-year and 5-year law courses. Admission to the Bachelor of Law (LL.B) course and some popular integrated law c ourses is provided through TS LAWCET .

TS LAWCET 2024 Qualifying Marks

In order to take admission to any of the participating colleges of TS LAWCET 2024 , candidates must be aware that they have to mandatorily score higher than the minimum qualifying marks of the exam. The conducting body has prescribed certain TS LAWCET 2024 qualifying marks and those who do not obtain higher than the qualifying score are not considered for admission to any participating college.

Factors Determining the TS LAWCET 2024 Cutoff

The exam authorities consider various factors while determining the TS LAWCET 2024 cutoff, some of them are-

  • Difficulty level of the question paper
  • Total seats available for the candidates, and

TS LAWCET 2024 Merit List

The merit list of TS LAWCET 2024 will be released on the official website of TSCHE after the TS LAWCET 2024 result is declared. Each college will release a different merit list for admission to 3-year LLB and a 5-year LLB. Further, separate merit lists will be published for the general category candidates and the students who fall under any reserved category. We have already discussed the TS LAWCET qualifying marks 2024 above and candidates have a brief idea of the minimum marks they need to secure in the exam to pass.

Candidates will have to register for the TS LAWCET 2024 counselling process , after which they may or may not feature in the merit list of TS LAWCET 2024. In the counselling process, they will be required to upload the necessary documents for verification.

The applicants will further have to complete the choice filling process of TS LAWCET 2024 in which they will have to list their preferences of colleges and courses for admission. They will be allowed to select only those colleges whose cut-off criteria they clear. The TS LAWCET 2024 merit list will be released after all the procedures are over and it will mention the names of candidates who have been selected for admission.

TS LAWCET 2024 Tie Breaker Rule

If two candidates have the same score in the result of TS LAWCET 2024, the admission officials will use the following tie-breaker rule to decide the name of the candidate in the merit list.

  • Marks obtained in Part C of TS LAWCET 2024
  • Marks obtained in Part B of TS LAWCET 2024
  • Candidates senior in age will be ranked higher
