Uttar Pradesh accepts admission in B.Sc in agriculture , M.Sc in agriculture , M.Tech in agriculture, MBA in agriculture and Ph.D in agriculture degree programme for agricultural courses. Every year, a state-level entrance test UPCATET is conducted for admission in four participating agriculture universities in UP. The four universities have constituent Colleges/Institutes where students can get admission.

Thousands of students appear in the examination for admission in agricultural courses in Uttar Pradesh. UPCATET 2020 online application form last date has been extended.

Uttar Pradesh Agricultural Courses Application Process

All information related to Admission in agricultural courses in Uttar Pradesh is released on the official website UPCATET or Narendra Deva University of Agriculture and Technology official website. The application process can be completed in three steps. Check here:

Step 1: Register and fill the Application form

As soon as the notification is released for admission on the official website, candidates can register and fill in the online application form. The application can also be filled in offline mode. Candidates can collect the form from the admission office of participating universities and send the application before the deadline.

Step2: Pay the Registration fees

Candidates who fill in the application form must also pay the application fees to complete the application process. Online payment can be done using debit/ credit cards. For offline payment, candidates must visit the nearest SBI branch

Step 3: Print Application Form

After payment, candidates must keep a copy of the application form for future reference.

UP Agricultural Courses 2020 General Eligibility Criteria

Check the eligibility criteria to take admission in agricultural courses in UP:

  • The candidate must have passed the qualifying examination from Uttar Pradesh State.

  • The candidate must be living in UP for at least the past 5 years or the candidate father must be from UP or living in the state for the past five years.

  • Foreign candidates whose ancestors were from UP are also eligible to appear in UPCATET

  • The age of the candidates applying for the UG programme must be between 16 to 22 years.

  • Age of the candidates applying for B.V.Sc. and A.H. programmes must be between 17 to 25 years.

  • There is no age limit to apply for PG programmes.

  • English must be one of the including subjects in Class 12.

  • Candidates must have scored at least 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.

  • SC/ ST candidates must have scored an aggregate of 47.5%.

B.Sc Honors Home Science/

Community Science (Girls only)

  • Candidate must have passed intermediate in Arts. Home Science must be one of the subjects in Class XII.

  • PCB /PCM/ PCMB/Agri.Sci. students are also eligible for admission.

Hi Dear, as per LPU criteria for BTECH in IT program You need minimum 60% marks in 10+2 apart from that If you are Kashmiri Migrants or belong from North East and Sikkim candidates or Defence Personnel then you are eligible for 5% relaxation. But if you want further eligibility criteria information you can visit the LPU official website to reach the administrative via toll-free number or you can mail in admissions@lpu.co.in to get the confirmation.
