- A score of 140+ out of 160 is considered as a very good score in AP EAMCET which can help candidates get admission into the prestigious AP EAMCET participating colleges. Candidates who score 140+ out of 160 in AP EAMCET are supposed to secure a rank from 1 to 50. Some of the best colleges for 140 marks in AP EAMCET are GMR Institute of Technology, GITAM University Vizag, and PVPSIT College. AP EAMCET Qualifying Marks 2024
APSCHE has defined the qualifying marks required in AP EAMCET 2024 to be eligible for counselling. The AP EAMCET qualifying marks for candidates belonging to the general category is 25% of 160, i.e. 40, whereas, for reserved category students, there is no minimum qualifying score required. AP EAMCET (EAPCET) 2024 Ranking System
The ranking system of AP EAMCET was revised last year. As per the new rule, the 25% weightage rule for Intermediate marks in the entrance exam has been scrapped. The ranking system of AP EAMCET 2024 will be based on marks scored in the entrance exam only. AP EAMCET is conducted for 160 marks. If two or more candidates secure the same marks in the entrance exam, marks scored in individual subjects shall be taken into consideration to determine the rank. There will be separate ranks for Engineering and Agriculture streams.
