Candidates who score 140+ out of 160 in AP EAMCET are supposed to secure a rank from 1 to 50. Some of the best colleges for 140 marks in AP EAMCET are GMR Institute of Technology, GITAM University Vizag, and PVPSIT College. However, 120 marks in AP EAMCET can be considered as a good score whereas a 70+ score is an average score in AP EAMCET, and subsequently 50 marks or below is a low score.

AP EAMCET Qualifying Marks 2024

APSCHE has defined the qualifying marks required in AP EAMCET 2024 to be eligible for counselling. The AP EAMCET qualifying marks for candidates belonging to the general category is 25% of 160, i.e. 40, whereas, for reserved category students, there is no minimum qualifying score required. The category-wise qualifying marks can be checked in the table below.

AP EAMCET (EAPCET) 2024 Ranking System

The ranking system of AP EAMCET was revised last year. As per the new rule, the 25% weightage rule for Intermediate marks in the entrance exam has been scrapped. The ranking system of AP EAMCET 2024 will be based on marks scored in the entrance exam only. AP EAMCET is conducted for 160 marks. If two or more candidates secure the same marks in the entrance exam, marks scored in individual subjects shall be taken into consideration to determine the rank. There will be separate ranks for Engineering and Agriculture streams.

Yes you can still apply to Lovely Professional University(LPU)for B.Tech electrical Engineering (or any other program)even if your final year result is published in August. LPU often allows provisional admission based on your previous academic year results(Such as your 3rd year marks on current semester performance, especially if you are in your final year at the time of application. You can submit your latest available marks (eg.3rd year or mid term results)to apply and provide your final year results later once they are published.
