Who is Eligible for UPCATET Round 2 Counselling?

UPCATET 2024: UPCATET 2024 Counselling registration process will commence in July 2024. Only the candidates who have qualified for the UPCATET entrance test will be eligible to appear for the UPCATET 2024 Counselling process . Through the counselling, the qualified candidates will be allotted seats to UG, PG, and Ph.D. courses at various prestigious colleges in Uttar Pradesh. One of the most common questions asked by the candidates is about the eligibility criteria for UPCATET Round 2 counselling. The candidates who are eligible for UPCATET 2024 round 2 counseling are listed below:

Eligibility Rule 1

The candidates who did not participate in Round 1 Counselling.

Eligibility Rule 2

The candidates who participated in Round 1 Counselling but were not allotted any seats.

Eligibility Rule 3

The candidates who have been allotted seats in Round 1 Counselling and who have completed the admission process in the allotted college. Such candidates will have to apply for up-gradation of seats (only if necessary or required)

Who is NOT Eligible for UPCATET Round 2 Counselling?

The candidates who are NOT eligible for UPCATET 2024 round 2 counseling are listed below:

Non-Eligibility Rule 1

The candidates who were allotted seats in Round 1 but didn’t pay the security fee of INR 5000.

Non-Eligibility Rule 2

The candidates who were allotted seats in Round 1 and paid the security fee of INR 5,000 but didn’t complete the admission process at allotted colleges.

Non-Eligibility Rule 3

The candidates whose documents were rejected in Round 1 during verification.

Important Points Regarding UPCATET 2024 Counselling

The candidates must keep in mind the following important points for UPCATET 2024 Counselling:

  • Every candidate will have to pay the security fee of INR 5,000 through the official website to participate in the counselling process.

  • Before filling the choices, it is important for the candidates to read the instructions carefully as they cannot fill the choices for courses they are not eligible for.

  • The seat allocation will be done on the basis of scores obtained in the entrance test as well as the reservation of seats.

  • The Round 2 Counselling for UPCATET will be conducted for Paid and Free seats.

UPCATET 2024 Counselling Process

The UPCATET 2024 Counselling will go through the following process:

Step 1: Firstly, the candidates will have to visit the official website and register for the counselling process.

Step 2: Further, the candidates will have to practice the choice filling by visiting the official website. Through choice filling, they will have to fill their choices of colleges & courses. The candidates will also have to lock their choices after choice filling.

Step 3: The printout copy must be taken for future reference. To print out candidates will require to click on the Print Review Tab.

Step 4: On the basis of merit in exam and choice filling, the seats will be allotted to the candidates and the seat allocation result will be uploaded on the official website.

Step 5: The candidates will have to upload their documents for verification on the official website. Only after the document verification, they will be approved for further process.

Step 6: The candidates who have been allotted seats will have to deposit the security fee of INR 5000 on the date of verification.

Step 7: After the payment of the security fee, the candidates can download the seat allotment letter from the official website.

Step 8: Finally, the candidates will have to visit the allotted institute, submit documents and pay the admission fee to confirm their seats.

Yes, certainly the question paper for PCB and PCM is different in MP PAT. In PCB question papers, questions from Physics (50 Marks), Chemistry (50 Marks), and Biology (100 Marks) are asked whereas in PCM  the question paper consists of these subjects viz Physics (50 Marks), Chemistry (50 Marks), and Mathematics (100 Marks)
