Documents Required to Fill SLAT Application Form

SLAT 2025 application form was released on the official website of the exam conducting body on August 15, 2024 and the last date to apply is November 22, 2024. The SLAT 2025 exam will be conducted on December 13 and 15, 2024.

While filling the applications from candidates, after upload certain personal, educational, and category supporting documents in accordance with the image specifications released by the conducting body. Candidates have to ensure that the documents provided by them are valid and authentic.

How to Fill the SLAT 2025 Application Form?

The SLAT application form is divided into two parts: part 1 is for the SLAT application procedure, and Part 2 is the admission form for SLS Pune, Hyderabad, Noida, and Nagpur's law programs. Following are the steps to follow through during the application process:

Step - 1: SLAT 2025 Registration

  • The registration window opens when you select the "Register Now" button on the SIU website.
  • Candidates must click "new registration" to launch a registration form, where they must provide the necessary information as listed below:
  • Registration details - The name, category, and date of birth of the candidate; and their contact information - Cell phone number and main email address
  • Details of Class 12: Choose your academic major from among Science, Commerce, the Arts, or other options.
  • Choose the program from SLAT, SITEEE , or SET General/ non-SLAT
  • Preferred test city: Choose three places where you would want to take the SLAT in 2025.
  • Each candidate must register for the SLAT exam in order to receive their unique SLAT ID, which is required.

Step - 2: Filling out the application form and documents uploading

  • The next step is for applicants to complete their SLAT application form with their personal, professional, educational, and complete contact details.
  • For the Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT) application process 2025, applicants must also upload their most recent scanned photograph, which must be no older than three months.
  • The scanned photograph that candidates are required to submit must be between the size of 10 KB to 500 KB and can be in any one of the following formats: .jpeg, .jpg, .png, or .gif formats.
  • Candidates are required to fill out the following information in their SLAT application form:
  1. Applicant’s name
  2. Date of birth
  3. Gender
  4. Category of the candidate
  5. Candidate’s registered mobile phone number
  6. Address for communication
  7. 10+2 details
  8. Programme preference
  9. SLAT Test city preference
  10. Uploading of the scanned passport-size photo (not more than 3 months old)

Step -3: Cross-check the filled-out application form

Verify the accuracy of the information you have provided. After the registration, under no circumstances are revisions allowed. During the application process, candidates are totally and solely responsible for providing accurate information. SIU reserves the right to refuse admission or to revoke an application at any time in line with its rules and regulations if it is discovered that any information provided by the applicant when filling out or submitting the application form is untrue. Hence, candidates must make sure they enter the data accurately. After the registration window closes, changes to the SLAT application form will not be permitted (except test centre preference and admission category).

Step -4: SLAT 2025 Application Fee Payment

Candidates must pay INR 1950 as the SLAT registration fee, regardless of their category. There is no reimbursement for the application fee; once the application fee is submitted, under no circumstance, it shall be refundable to any candidate. Candidates must also pay a fee of INR 1000 for each programme they desire to apply to. The SLAT 2025 application fee can be paid in one of the following ways mentioned below:

  • Billdesk Payment Gateway
  • Easebuzz Payment Gateway
  • Indian Bank Payment Gateway
  • Demand Draft

Candidates who choose to pay the application fee via online mode can choose any one of the above-mentioned payment gateway to pay the prescribed application fee through debit card/ credit card/ net banking.

Candidates must print and complete the challan form in order to make an offline payment for the SLAT exam. They must send a demand draft made out to the "Symbiosis Test Secretariat" and payable in Pune from a nationalized bank (such as SBI or Canara Bank). Candidates must select the "DD Payment" option under the "Make Payment" tab. Print the payment advice form, fill it out with your credit card information, sign it, and mail it to the Symbiosis Test Secretariat at:

The Symbiosis Test Secretariat will verify the Demand Draft payment information and will email you to confirm the transaction. You won't be able to view your admit card till the payment is actually realized.

Step - 5: SLAT 2025 Application Form Submission

Candidates will receive an email confirmation with their application number after completing the aforementioned stages. In addition, applicants must register for admission to the Symbiosis International University law schools in which they wish to enroll. Candidates should retain a copy of the completed SLAT 2025 application form for any future reference.

Procedure of Programme Fee Payment for SLAT 2025

An applicant who wishes to submit his application for one of the available UG programs must also finish the payment process for that program before the deadline for that payment. The only way to pay for the programs is through the website (set-test.org). Complete Part II of the online registration form (Part II) for the program (s) registration and the relevant institute after paying for SET/ SLAT/ SITEEE (s). At this point, an applicant must submit a separate fee of INR 1000 which will be a non-refundable, non-transferable payment for each program and institute. If candidates choose to pay for their programs by demand draft, they must make a demand draft in the amount of INR 1000 in the name of the "Symbiosis Test Secretariat" for each program.

Documents Required to Fill the SLAT 2025 Application Form

Candidates must have all the required documentation at hand in order to apply for the SLAT 2025. While some documents must be scanned and uploaded in the online form, others must be kept handy for reference. Candidates must ensure that they are ready with the things mentioned in the table below before filling out the SLAT 2025 application form.

This is required for registering as well as for receiving OTP.

Class 10 th Mark Sheet/ Certificate

It is to verify the candidate’s date of birth and to enter academic details.

Class 12 th Mark Sheet/ Certificate

Again to provide academic detail such as score, grade, percentage, etc.

Scanned Photograph

To be uploaded in the application form (the size of the photograph should be between 10 KB to 500 KB). Candidates must note that the scanned photograph should be a recent one and should not be more than 3 months old.

Credit/ Debit Card Details

To pay the application fee. You can either do it online or offline.
