Karnataka BSc Agriculture Admission 2025 is based on the KCET exam . The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) will handle the admission process for the BSc Agriculture and BTech Agriculture Engineering courses.

The Karnataka CET 2025 exam will take place on April 16 and 17, 2025. The KCET 2025 application process began on January 23, 2025. The deadline to submit the KCET 2025 application form is February 18, 2025, and the fee payment is due by February 20, 2025.  You can find the application form on the official website.

If you want to apply for these courses under the state quota, you must take part in the KCET counselling process. There are 1,230 seats available in agriculture universities across the state for students whose families are involved in farming. Karnataka BSc Agriculture Eligibility Criteria 2025

To be eligible for Karnataka BSc Agriculture admission 2025, students must meet the following criteria:

  • The student should have passed Class XII or an equivalent exam.
  • The student must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, with Biology as an optional subject.
  • Students need to take the CET exam in PCMB subjects.
  • Those applying under the Agriculturist Quota must also take Practical examinations and achieve at least 50% marks.

Karnataka BSc Agriculture Admission Process 2025

For admission, 25% of the marks come from Class XII - PCMB and CET, while 50% come from the Practical Test. Students must score at least 50% in the Practical Examination to be eligible for agricultural courses under the Agriculturist Quota. The merit list for students is based on their marks from the Qualifying Examination and their performance in the Common Entrance Test (CET) for PCMB subjects. There are no minimum CET marks needed for admission to Karnataka BSc Agriculture in 2025.

The Karnataka BSc Agriculture admission 2024 application form can be filled out in two phases.

Phase 1: Fill in details and edit them if required. Verify if all the mandatory information is entered appropriately. Any discrepancy, later on, may affect the allotment of seats at the time of admission.

Karnataka BSc Agriculture Admission Process 2025

The merit list of candidates is prepared based on the marks obtained in the Qualifying Examination and performance in Common Entrance Test (CET)- PCMB subjects. There are no minimum marks required in CET for Karnataka BSc Agriculture admission 2025.

  • For 25% of marks obtained in Class XII - PCMB and CET are considered for admission. Rest 50% of marks obtained in the Practical Test are considered for admission.

  • The candidate must secure at least 50% marks in the Practical Examination for admission in agricultural courses under Agriculturist Quota.

The merit list is determined by KEA and eligible candidates are determined accordingly. A separate result sheet is prepared for the Agricultural course (Farm Science) and the list is published on the official site of KEA on the defined date.

The Karnataka BSc Agriculture admission 2025 seat allotment is done online and eligible candidates can choose options in the order of merit or rank obtained in the Karnataka CET examination. Dear Student,

Unfortunately, being a resident of Odisha you are not eligible to apply or sit for the TS EAMCET exam. This is because as per the TS EAMCET 2025 eligibility criteria, only those candidates who are domicile of Telangana or Andhra Pradesh states can appear for the entrance exam. However, if you want to pursue undergraduate engineering degree, then you may apply for OJEE exam that is held exclusively for students in the state. Registration for OJEE 2025 is ongoing till March 20, 2025.
