Karnataka BSc Agriculture Admission 2025: Karnataka 2025 BSc Agriculture Admission is done through KCET exam. Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) is responsible for conducting the admission process for the BSc Agriculture / BTech Agriculture Engineering course. The candidates aspiring to apply for admission in the aforementioned courses under the state quota will have to participate in the KCET counselling process. A total number of 1,230 seats in Agriculture universities across the state are reserved for students whose family is involved in farming. However, candidates claiming seats under the Agriculture Quota will have to appear for the Practical Test that is conducted for 200 marks. Karnataka BSc/ B.Tech Agriculture Eligibility Criteria 2025

Following are the eligibility criteria for Karnataka BSc Agriculture admission 2025:

  • The candidate must have passed Class XII or equivalent examination.

  • The candidate must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with Biology as the optional subject.

  • The candidates must have appeared in CET in PCMB subjects.

  • Agriculturist Quota candidates must also appear in Practical examinations and secure at least 50% marks in them.

Karnataka B.Sc Agriculture Application Process 2025

Candidates must fill in the online application form to be considered for admission in Professional courses through the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA). No application is accepted in offline mode. The online Karnataka BSc Agriculture admission 2025 application form is user-friendly and candidates fill in the application form using the instructions given below:

Download the blank application and fill in the information, and details in the application form in offline mode. The correct information must be added online in the online application form.

The Karnataka BSc Agriculture admission 2024 application form can be filled out in two phases.

Phase 1: Fill in details and edit them if required. Verify if all the mandatory information is entered appropriately. Any discrepancy, later on, may affect the allotment of seats at the time of admission.

Phase 2: Select the declaration to confirm that all information added to the online application is correct and no changes can be incorporated later on. The candidate cannot edit/ delete or add any information after checking the declaration.

The candidate must pay the application fees and take a printout of the application form for further admission process.

Karnataka BSc Agriculture Admission Process 2025

The merit list of candidates is prepared based on the marks obtained in the Qualifying Examination and performance in Common Entrance Test (CET)- PCMB subjects. There are no minimum marks required in CET for Karnataka BSc Agriculture admission 2025.

  • For 25% of marks obtained in Class XII - PCMB and CET are considered for admission. Rest 50% of marks obtained in the Practical Test are considered for admission.

  • The candidate must secure at least 50% marks in the Practical Examination for admission in agricultural courses under Agriculturist Quota.

Documents Uploading for Agriculture Quota

The fee to upload documents is Rs. 200 (Rs. 100 for SC/ST). Candidates who wish to claim reservation under the Agriculture quota for UG farm courses will have to upload the supporting documents. The list of documents to be uploaded can be checked below -

Karnataka BSc Agriculture Merit List 2025

The merit list is determined by KEA and eligible candidates are determined accordingly. A separate result sheet is prepared for the Agricultural course (Farm Science) and the list is published on the official site of KEA on the defined date.

The Karnataka BSc Agriculture admission 2025 seat allotment is done online and eligible candidates can choose options in the order of merit or rank obtained in the Karnataka CET examination. After the results are released and the merit list is published, candidates need to visit the Districts helpline centres for document verification. The candidate can enter options after the receipt of the verification slip. The online process allows candidates to choose any number of options based on their preferences.

A secure User ID and Secret Key is provided to all candidates for login. Candidates must ensure to meet the eligibility criteria before applying for admission to Government seats in Karnataka. Information added in the CET online application form is considered to prepare the rank list and seat allotment.

Agriculturist Quota candidates, merit list is prepared based on 25% marks obtained Qualifying examination PCBM and CET each. Rest 50% of marks obtained in the Practical Examination are considered for admission.
