List of Important Topics for Rajasthan JET 2024 Chemistry

Important Topics for Rajasthan JET 2025 Chemistry : The Rajasthan JET 2025 exam will tentatively be conducted in the first week of June 2025. The last date to submit the Rajasthan JET form 2025 will tentatively be in the 1st week of May, and the application process is expected to start in March 2025.

Chemistry is important for qualifying for Rajasthan JET 2025. It is divided into three branches: Inorganic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, and Organic Chemistry. In the Rajasthan JET Chemistry section, there are 40 marks total. Out of these, 10 marks come from Agricultural Chemistry and the remaining 30 marks are for General Chemistry. General Chemistry includes Inorganic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, and Organic Chemistry. Experts believe that most candidates for Rajasthan JET 2025 will be able to easily answer questions about Agricultural Chemistry, which they learned in Class XII.

Unit A - The Basic Concept of Chemistry including the laws of chemical combinations, Dalton atomic theory, Avagadro hypothesis, and Mole concept. Structure of atom, periodic table and periodicity in properties, chemical bonding and molecular structure, redox reactions, Equilibrium (Chemical and ionic equilibrium)

Unit B - Chemical Kinetics, Chemical thermodynamics, acids and bases, colloidal state of matters, Metals, S-block elements, D-block elements

Unit C - Agricultural Chemistry- Soil, Soil organic matter and soil microorganisms, soil colloids, Ion exchange, Soil reaction, Acidic and saline soil, Essential nutrients of plants. Reaction of different fertilizers in soil and effects on crops. Agrochemicals and environmental pollution, Biochemistry. Edible colors, Organic manures and bio-fertilizers, Dairy Chemistry.

Unit D - Organic Chemistry, Some basic principles and techniques, Valency of carbon and hybridization, Saturated hydrocarbons (up to 5 carbon atoms), Unsaturated hydrocarbons, Organic chemistry based on functional groups: Halides, Carbonyl groups, Synthetic and natural polymers, Chemistry in action.
