Telangana BSc Agriculture, BFSc, BVSc & AH counselling process will commence from first week of July 2025 by JNTU Hyderabad. The qualified candidates will be eligible for the counselling process.

Telangana BSc Agriculture, BFSc, BVSc & AH Admission 2025: BSc agriculture admissions in the state of Telangana along with admission into other similar undergraduate level programmes such as Bachelor of Fisheries Science (BFSc) and Bachelor of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry (BVSc & AH) will be done on the basis of TS EAMCET exam also known as Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Entrance Test scores. TS EAMCET agriculture exam 2025 was conducted on April 29 and 30, 2025. JNTU Hyderabad released the TS EAMCET result on its official website on May 11, 2025. The counselling process will begin from first week of July 2025.

  • From the physics section approximately 60% of the questions were numerical and application-based which required good amount of problem-solving skills. Questions from topics like mechanics and electromagnetism were asked in the exam.
  • The chemistry section was easiest among all the sections. Around 75% of the questions were straightforward in nature and based on NCERT textbooks. This chemistry section emphasized more on theoretical concepts with less number of complex problems
  • The zoology section included questions from chapters like human anatomy, physiology, and animal diversity. Students found that the questions were a mix of direct and analytical testing both memory and understanding.
  • Questions from the botany section primarily focused on topics like plant physiology, genetics, and ecology. A significant portion of the questions were application-based, requiring a solid understanding of concepts.

  • Candidates applying for admission in this programme must have passed the 2-year intermediate examination (or any other equivalent examination)
  • The Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana State should have conducted the qualifying examination (or any other equivalent body)
  • Candidates must have mandatorily studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English subjects at the intermediate level and secured passing marks
  • Candidates must have at least secured 50% aggregate in the previous qualifying exam (45% for PwD/ST/SC category candidates)

Age Eligibility Criteria for BSc (Hons) Agriculture, BFSc and BSc (Hons) Horticulture programmes

  • Minimum age - 17 years
  • Maximum age - 25 years
  • Maximum age (PwD/ST/SC category candidates) - 27 years
  • Candidates should not be younger than 17 years of age and exceed the upper age limit on December 31st of the year of admission

Telangana BSc/BFSc/BVSc & AH Selection Process

Selection into the BSc/BFSc/BVSc & AH programmes offered at various Telangana institutions is done through the centralized counselling process conducted by PJTSAU. Candidates whose names appear in the rank list will be called for certificate verification for Telangana BSc Agriculture admission 2025.

However, Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University conducts a separate counselling process based on the TS EAMCET scores obtained by the candidates, and all the colleges affiliated to Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University participate in the university-level counselling process to fill up their vacant 4-year B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture seats.

Candidates who will clear the Telangana BSc Agriculture 2025 are required to register themselves for the counselling process. Only those who will acquire a viable rank in the entrance test can apply for counselling. After registering for the counselling, candidates will be able to go through the online counselling process. It will constitute the following steps for Telangana BSc Agriculture admission 2025 counselling:

  • Register for counselling.
  • After registration, the slot booking date will open for counselling.
  • During the counselling, participate in the document verification and choice selection processes.
