About AP LAWCET 2024 Counselling (Ongoing)

The AP LAWCET counselling process 2024 for round 2 is underway. As per the latest notification, the seat allocation for phase 2 counselling was issued on December 2, 2024. Selected candidates must report to the assigned college between December 3 to 5, 2024.

The AP LAWCET counselling process is held across two rounds to shortlist candidates for the offered course. Those who have cleared the said admission test are eligible to participate in the counselling. Detailed AP LAWCET 2024 Counselling Process

The counselling process for AP LAWCET 2024 will be divided into the following stages:

Step 1: Notification Released by APSCHE

The first step of the AP LAWCET 2024 counselling process is the release of the notification.

  • The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) shall notify all the candidates regarding the AP LAWCET Counselling Process through a press release in the AP newspapers. 
  • The press release shall comprise all the important details like the venue along with other details pertaining to the AP LAWCET Counselling Process 2024. 
  • The press release may also include information about the admission process, documents required, the rank of candidates and the details of verification of documents. In addition, a list of helpline centres shall also be mentioned in the same. 

Step 2: Verification of Documents

The candidates can verify the documents from the allotted help centres.

  • A helpline centre shall be allocated to each candidate where he/she will be required to visit for verification of the required documents. 
  • Only after the verification of the documents, the candidate shall be held qualified for the counselling process. 
  • Applicants claiming CAP / NCC / PH / SPORTS must, however, physically come for document verification at Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur - Help Line centre only on the allotted dates.
  • Candidates must upload all applicable certificates, including CAP, NCC, PH, and Sports certifications. Their original certificates will be validated and candidates must submit two sets of photocopy of all certificates.

Step 3: Payment of AP LAWCET 2024 Counselling Fees and Exercising Web Options

The tuition Fee details and available seats under Convener quota college wise will be posted on the website https://cets.apsche.ap.gov.in prior to the start of option entry. The counselling fee has to be paid via online mode on the official website.

  • Candidates have to pay the counselling fee at the time of the document verification at the help centre. 
  • The Counselling Fee is non-refundable and the same shall be paid through Net Banking or Debit/Credit Card only.

Step 4: Selection of Course and Preference of College

After the verification of the documents, the candidates have to follow the steps given below:

  • After the verification of the documents, a login ID will be provided to the candidates in their registered mobile number. 
  • Candidates have to create a password using their registration number, hall ticket number and DOB. 
  • After the successful completion of the login process, candidates have to visit the official website of APSCHE and an OTP will be sent to the candidate. The candidates should exercise the options carefully. 
  • The candidates can then use the OTP to choose their preferred course that they want to pursue at the AP LAWCET 2024 participating colleges.  

Step 5: Modification or Freezing of Courses

The candidates can change their preferred courses and colleges after selecting.

  • Within a specific time span allocated by the exam authority, the candidates can modify their preferred course. 
  • By following this, the candidate must freeze one course that they seek admission to. 
  • APSCHE offers a final modification window to change the course preference even after the time allotted. 

Step 6: Final Allotment of Seats

The APSCHE will release the final seat allotment list on their official website. 

  • In order to access the same, candidates shall download the order and report it through the Self  Reporting System. Post this, candidates shall report to the designated college on the given date.
  • Seat Allotment shall be done on the basis of the candidate's rank, course preference and category. 
  • Candidates should report in person in order to retain a seat. In case the candidate fails to do so at the given time, date and venue, the seat shall be cancelled. No further claim shall be taken into consideration and shall be allocated to the next best candidate. 

Documents Required for AP LAWCET 2024 Document Verification

It is compulsory for the candidates to bring all original certificates and one set of Xerox copies of:

  • AP LAWCET 2024 Rank Card
  • AP LAWCET 2024 Admit Card
  • Degree & PG Degree Provisional Certificates
  • Mark sheet of Intermediate or equivalent
  • Mark sheet of Qualifying Examination
  • SSC or it's equivalent Marks Sheet
  • 6th to 9th class to Inter, Degree Study Certificates,
  • Income Certificate
  • White Ration Card
  • Aadhar Card
  • Caste Certificate issued by a competent authority and also CAP / NCC / PH / Sports / Minority Certificate (SSC TC containing Minority Status or Certificate from the Head Master, if applicable)

Here are some important guidelines to remember related to AP LAWCET 2024 counselling -

  • Aspirants who have secured the least qualifying marks can join the AP LAWCET counselling.
  • Aspirants must visit the official website and check the updates related to the counselling process. They have to follow the schedule of the AP LAWCET 2024 counselling process and join the events accordingly.
  • Students have to upload their certificates at cets.apsche.ap.gov.in for document verification.

AP LAWCET 2024 Rank List

Aspirants who are on the AP LAWCET 2024 rank list will be qualified to participate in the AP LAWCET counselling process. To be considered for the AP LAWCET rank list, aspirants must have scored at least 35% marks in the entrance test, which amounts to 42 out of 120 marks.

For SC/ ST candidates, there are no minimum marks for ranking.
