All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) is about to start the registration process of AIIMS MBBS examination. The Registration Process for AIIMS MBBS will now complete in two stages comprising of the Basic Registration and Final Registration. It will be an online process for which the interested candidates will have to log in with their registered ID and Password. The decision to include two stages of registration has been taken to avoid discrepancies related to the information of the applicants. The two stages will define each information in detail and will allow candidates to be specific with the information they enter and submit. Let’s read about the two stages in a more descriptive and detailed way to understand what exactly the stages are.
Basic Registration
As the name suggests, it deals with basic details of the applicants. In this process, the interested applicants are supposed to enter their basic information like name, date of birth, place of birth, present address, permanent address, phone number, email address, etc. Applicants must fill the details carefully as each detail will be cross-checked by the concerned authorities after the closure of the Basic Registration Process. Candidates also need to submit their photograph along with the Basic Registration Form.
The exam conducting authority will review the Basic Registration Form and announce the list of selected candidates. Each selected individual will be given unique identification number from the concerned authorities. The details regarding the same will be disseminated to the candidates through mail or SMS on the ID and number provided by the candidates. These candidates will become eligible for the next round Registration process.
Final Registration
The Final Registration process has begun for the candidates who have successfully cleared the Basic Registration Process. the final registration comprises of the payment of fees and city choice and this option is available only to those candidates who have successfully generated their unique registration code between 29th January 2019 and 17th February 2019. Applicants who have already finished their AIIMS MBBS basic registration process, however, not generated the unique code have been provided with another opportunity to complete the application process of AIIMS MBBS. Such candidates can generate the unique code and complete the final registration process between 23rd February 2019 and 12th March 2019 (up to 5pm). These candidates should note that no further opportunity will be provided to them, therefore these candidates should complete the process at the earliest. Also, for completing the final registration process, a unique code is essential for the candidates.
In Final Registration process round, the applicants will be asked to enter details about their educational qualification, make the payment of the requisite amount defined by the authority and select the exam centre of their choice. Before starting with the Final Registration, candidates must check the prescribed eligibility norms and then proceed with the registration process. Only the ones qualifying the eligibility norms will be allowed to get the AIIMS MBBS 2019 Admit Card and appear in the examination.
For those who do not wish to continue with the registration process this year, can complete the Final Registration Process in the year they are prepared of it. It is to know that the information submitted in the Basic Registration Form will retain for subsequent years. Therefore, it will enable candidates to directly start with the Final Registration Process in the next session of AIIMS MBBS entrance examination.

Candidates who register themselves will be able to generate the code. After generating the code, the candidates can proceed with the final registration. We have discussed below the steps to generate the AIIMS MBBS code.
Step 1: Candidates will have to visit the official site of AIIMS MBBS
Step 2: Candidates will have to log in on this site using the registration ID, Password and provided the captcha code.
Step 3: Candidates will have to click on “generate code”, this option will be available on the left side of the screen.
Step 4: Aspirants will have to select the course for which they are applying
Step 5: After this, the AIIMS MBBS application form with the code number will appear on the screen
Step 6: The applicants are advised to take a print out of the application form of AIIMS MBBS.

AIIMS, New Delhi provides an opportunity for the applicants to correct the application form if incase any modification has to be made. Usually, this window of form correction is made accessible in the third week of January. Before the correction window opens up the candidate will be able to check the status of the AIIMS MBBS form. Check the steps given below in order to make the corrections or edit in the application form:
Step 1: Applicants will have to visit the official site of AIIMS to make the changes in the application form
Step 2: AIIMS MBBS candidate login will appear on the screen of the applicant.
Step 3: Applicants will have to enter their application number and captcha code.
Step 4: The form of the applicant will be displayed on the screen, candidates will have to make the changes. The field that can be changed will be marked in red.
Step 5: After making the edit in the applications form will have to be submitted to see the changes by clicking on the “Preview” button.
Step 6: The confirmation page of the AIIMS application form will appear on the screen. The candidates must take out a printout for future use.
An acknowledgement will be sent to the registered email id of the applicant. Candidates will have to make sure that all the required information are written correctly on the form because incomplete application will lead to rejection of the application.
