Step 1: Candidates have to visit the official website of WBJEEB at wbjeeb.nic.in

Step 2: On the homepage, applicants will be able to see a link available to access the WBJEE result 2025

Step 3: By clicking on the link, a new page will open where candidates are required to enter their login credentials like enrollment number, password and security pin 

Step 4: After entering the details, click on the 'Submit' tab and the result of WBJEE 2025 along with the WBJEE rankcard 2025 will be displayed on the screen.

How to Check WBJEE Result 2025 in case of Forgotten Credentials?

How to Retrieve Forgotten Application Number / Enrollment Number?

Candidates who have lost / forgotten their application number or their enrollment number can follow the steps mentioned below to retrieve their application or enrollment number to check the WBJEE result 2025.

• Visit the official website of WBJEEB at wbjeeb.nic.in
• Click on the "WBJEE Result 2025" link
• After clicking on the link, candidates will be redirected to a new page where they are required to enter their application number, password and security pin.
• Click on the "Forgot Application Number" tab
• Now, in the new window opened applicants are required to enter their details like their name, father's name, mother's name, date of birth and security pin
• Click on "Submit" button after entering all the requisite details 
• The application number will be displayed on the screen and the same will be sent on the registered mail ID and phone number

How to Retrieve Forgotten Password?

Now in case a candidate forgets their login password then they can follow the steps mentioned in the section below.

• Click on the "WBJEE Result 2025" link
• After clicking on the link, candidates will be redirected to a new page where they are required to enter their application number, password and security pin
• Click on "Forgot Password' tab
• New window will open where candidates can retrieve their password by clicking on any one of the given options i.e OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number or OTP will be sent to the registered mail ID and then click the "Continue" button
• After clicking the "Continue" tab, the candidate can set the new password and confirm the same 
• The new password will be saved and it can be used by the applicant in the future aspects as well  

WBJEE Result 2025: Tie Breaking Procedure

The ranks are offered to the candidates who appear at the entrance on the basis of marks scored by them. Therefore, there may arise a situation where the marks scored by two or more candidates match. To avoid such a circumstance, the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) will follow a tie-breaking policy for WBJEE 2025. It is to be noted that the policy of tie-breaking for general merit rank (GMR) and pharmacy merit rank (PMR) will vary from each other. We have provided all the information related to this topic in the section below.

General Merit Rank (GMR): WBJEE Result Tie breaking rule

• Candidates who will receive less negative markings in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics will be preferred in the merit list

• If the first criteria don’t resolve the tie, candidates with less negative marking in Physics and Mathematics, taken together, will be preferred

• The next way out to break the tie is to give preference to the candidate who has less negative marking in Mathematics and Chemistry taken together

• Candidates who will score more positive marks in the subject of Mathematics for 2 marks questions will be offered with the preference. This step can be followed by the positive marks scored by the candidates in 2 marks questions in the subjects of Physics and Chemistry

• If the tie between the candidates is still not resolved, the one with less negative marking in the 2 marks questions of the mathematics paper will be placed higher in the merit list

• In case of a further tie, candidates with less negative marking in the Physics for 2 marks questions will be offered with the preference

• If all the above-mentioned methods do not solve the crisis the date of birth of candidates will be considered. The candidate who is older in age will be considered

Pharmacy Merit Rank (PMR): WBJEE Result Tie Breaking Rule

• Candidates with less negative marking in the Chemistry and Physics sections will be offered with the preference

• Candidates who have more positive marks in the Chemistry section will be preferred

• Candidates who have fewer negative marks in the subject of Chemistry will be preferred

• Candidates with more marks in the Chemistry paper for 2 marks questions will be provided with the preference

• Candidates with fewer negative marks in the Chemistry paper for 2 marks questions will be provided with the preference

• Candidates who score more marks in the Physics paper for 2 marks questions are preferred

• Candidates with fewer negative marks in the Physics paper for 2 marks questions will be provided with the preference

• Lastly, the candidates who are older are given preference over the younger candidates

WBJEE Merit List 2025

WBJEEB will also release the WBJEE 2025 merit list along with the declaration of the result of WBJEE 2025. Candidates who will be shortlisted will be called to participate in the counselling process.The candidates' overall score as well as their marks in each subject will be used to compile the WBJEE 2025 merit list. Moreover, the candidates' category will have an effect on the WBJEE 2025 merit list.

Based on the candidates' scores in all three subjects (mathematics, chemistry, and physics) of the entrance exam, the WBJEE 2025 General Merit List will be announced. The General Merit List of WBJEE 2025 will be released on the basis of candidate's scores obtained in all subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) of the entrance examination. A separate merit list of WBJEE 2025 will be released for reserved category candidates such as SC Rank, ST Rank, OBC-A Rank, OBC-B Rank, PwD Rank, TFW Rank. However, GMR will be applicable for all rounds of counselling and seat allotment.

WBJEE General Merit List

The General Merit List (GMR) will be applicable for admission to all Degree Level Engineering, Technology, and Architecture courses offered by the enlisted Engineering/Technology Colleges and Universities in West Bengal. Additionally, this list will be valid for admission to the degree-level Pharmacy course at Jadavpur University. The GMR will be based on the candidates’ scores in all three subjects—Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry—of WBJEE 2025. Candidates will be ranked in descending order of total marks obtained across these subjects. In case of a tie, the tie-breaking rules will be applied to determine the merit rank.

WBJEE Pharmacy Merit List

The Pharmacy Merit List (PMR) will be applicable for admission to all degree-level Pharmacy courses in enlisted Pharmacy Colleges and Universities, except for the Pharmacy course at Jadavpur University, where the GMR will be used. The PMR will be based on candidates’ scores in the combined paper of Physics and Chemistry in WBJEE 2025. Candidates will be ranked in descending order of their total marks in these two subjects. If ties occur, the tie-breaking rules will be applied to assign merit ranks.nThe PMR will be used for competitive seat allotment and counselling.
