WBJEE Merit List 2025
WBJEEB will also release the WBJEE 2025 merit list along with the declaration of the result of WBJEE 2025. Candidates who will be shortlisted will be called to participate in the counselling process.The candidates' overall score as well as their marks in each subject will be used to compile the WBJEE 2025 merit list. Moreover, the candidates' category will have an effect on the WBJEE 2025 merit list.
Based on the candidates' scores in all three subjects (mathematics, chemistry, and physics) of the entrance exam, the WBJEE 2025 General Merit List will be announced. The General Merit List of WBJEE 2025 will be released on the basis of candidate's scores obtained in all subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) of the entrance examination. A separate merit list of WBJEE 2025 will be released for reserved category candidates such as SC Rank, ST Rank, OBC-A Rank, OBC-B Rank, PwD Rank, TFW Rank. However, GMR will be applicable for all rounds of counselling and seat allotment.
WBJEE General Merit List
The General Merit List (GMR) will be applicable for admission to all Degree Level Engineering, Technology, and Architecture courses offered by the enlisted Engineering/Technology Colleges and Universities in West Bengal. Additionally, this list will be valid for admission to the degree-level Pharmacy course at Jadavpur University. The GMR will be based on the candidates’ scores in all three subjects—Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry—of WBJEE 2025. Candidates will be ranked in descending order of total marks obtained across these subjects. In case of a tie, the tie-breaking rules will be applied to determine the merit rank.
WBJEE Pharmacy Merit List
The Pharmacy Merit List (PMR) will be applicable for admission to all degree-level Pharmacy courses in enlisted Pharmacy Colleges and Universities, except for the Pharmacy course at Jadavpur University, where the GMR will be used. The PMR will be based on candidates’ scores in the combined paper of Physics and Chemistry in WBJEE 2025. Candidates will be ranked in descending order of their total marks in these two subjects. If ties occur, the tie-breaking rules will be applied to assign merit ranks.nThe PMR will be used for competitive seat allotment and counselling.
