The AEEE exam pattern 2025 is defined by the Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham commonly known as Amrita University. According to the AEEE exam pattern, applicants have to answer 30 questions from physics , 25 questions from chemistry section, 40 questions from math section, and 5 questions from English section in a time frame of 2 hours and 30 minutes.

AEEE 2025 exam pattern is prescribed by the Amrita University. The AEEE exam pattern 2025 will help candidates to understand the structure of the question paper, marking scheme, section-wise weightage, exam duration, etc. TheAEEE exam 2025 will be held in the CBT (Computer Based Test) mode and will include the MCQ questions. As per the AEEE marking scheme, 3 marks will be awarded for each right answer and -1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
Applicants who will qualify for the JEE Main or SAT or PUEEE can also apply for admission and they will be exempted from appearing in AEEE examination. These applicants will be given admission through the valid JEE Main score. Multiple types of questions (MCQs) are asked in the entrance exam.
The total duration of the exam is 2 hour 30 minutes.
The total number of questions in the exam is 100 i.e Physics – 30, Chemistry – 25, Mathematics – 40, English - 05).
The total marks of the exam are 300 i.e Physics – 90, Chemistry – 75, Mathematics – 120 and English- 15.
3 marks will be awarded for every correct answer, and 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
No marks will be awarded or deducted for unattempted or unanswered questions.
Online (Computer-based) mode – For online mode, applicants will have to mark their responses on the computer.
The total duration for the online mode exam is 2 hours and 30 minutes.
Applicants must reach their respective exam centres on time.
No student will be allowed to leave the exam centres before the end of the exam.
