The first step in preparing for the AP AGRICET 2024 examination is to know the exam pattern and the syllabus by heart. Grab all the preparation materials, books and notes that you will need to prepare for the exam. Give lots of mock tests and go through previous year's question papers while trying to solve them. Lastly, revise as much as you can to retain more information.
The question paper consists of 120 questions and each question carries one mark. A candidate will be given 1 and a half hours to complete the multiple-choice examination. The test will be conducted in the CBT (online) mode and no negative marking will be done.
Candidates must have completed a diploma course in agriculture/ seed technology/ organic farming from ANGRAU/ PJTSAU. In addition to that, candidates must be 17 years of age as of December 31, 2024. The upper age limit for all candidates is 22 years, but for the SC/ST category or physically handicapped students, the age limit is 25 years.
The candidates are required to fill out the application form for AGRICET 2024 through their official website - angrau.ac.in, and the fee for the same is INR 1,500. However, if a candidate comes from the SC/ST category or is physically handicapped, then the fee to be paid is INR 750.
The minimum marks required to qualify for the AGRICET 2024 exam is 25% or 30 marks out of 120 marks to be considered for ranking. Having said that, no minimum qualifying marks have been specified for the candidates belonging to the SC/ST community as their admission will be based on the number of seats available for their respective categories.
