Furthermore, in case of a tie wherein multiple candidates manage to obtain the same score, then here are the criteria that are to be followed according to the information brochure of Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University 2024:

  • OGPA obtained in the Diploma.
  • SSC overall grade point or marks percentage.
  • If the tie still continues to persist, then the date of birth of both candidates will be taken into consideration, the older being given preference over the younger.

AP AGRICET Qualifying Marks

As per the official website of Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University, the minimum qualifying marks that a candidate needs to score to be eligible for admission to colleges and universities affiliated with the conducting university is 30 marks out of 120 marks, which is, at least 25% marks.

However, this provision is not applicable to applicants who belong to the Scheduled Caste or the Scheduled Tribe category or are physically handicapped. Their admission will be based on the availability of seats that have been reserved for these categories.

How to prepare for AGRICET 2024?

The first step in preparing for the AP AGRICET 2024 examination is to know the exam pattern and the syllabus by heart. Grab all the preparation materials, books and notes that you will need to prepare for the exam. Give lots of mock tests and go through previous year's question papers while trying to solve them. Lastly, revise as much as you can to retain more information.

What is the exam pattern of AGRICET 2024?

The question paper consists of 120 questions and each question carries one mark. A candidate will be given 1 and a half hours to complete the multiple-choice examination. The test will be conducted in the CBT (online) mode and no negative marking will be done.

What are the eligibility criteria to sit for the AGRICET 2024 examination?

Candidates must have completed a diploma course in agriculture/ seed technology/ organic farming from ANGRAU/ PJTSAU. In addition to that, candidates must be 17 years of age as of December 31, 2024. The upper age limit for all candidates is 22 years, but for the SC/ST category or physically handicapped students, the age limit is 25 years.

What are the fees for AGRICET exam 2024?

The candidates are required to fill out the application form for AGRICET 2024 through their official website - angrau.ac.in, and the fee for the same is INR 1,500. However, if a candidate comes from the SC/ST category or is physically handicapped, then the fee to be paid is INR 750.

What are the cut-off marks required for AGRICET 2024?

The minimum marks required to qualify for the AGRICET 2024 exam is 25% or 30 marks out of 120 marks to be considered for ranking.
