GBPUAT Cutoff 2023

Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture & Technology announces the cutoff for the GBPUAT on its official website. Every year, the GBPUAT Cut-Off is announced tentatively in July (last week) to August (first week). 

For 2023 the GBPUAT cutoff for general category candidates was 1085 and for OBC category candidates the cutoff was 1623. The PG cutoff for GBPUAT for SC category candidates was 740 and for EWS category candidates it was 578. Students can check the other category cutoff from the below table. 

Students who score more marks than the cutoff score for GBPUAT will be eligible to take the counselling process for GBPUAT. The GBPUAT Counselling Process begins tentatively in July each year.

GBPUAT Counselling Process and Tie-Breaking Rules

To be selected for the GBPUAT Exam, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • As soon as the GBPUAT Rankwise list of students who took this year's entrance exam is released, the GBPUAT Cutoff Marks are released. 
  • When it comes to PhD programs, the merit list is based on scores in the GBPUAT Exam, but if two or more students got the same score, then the merit list is based on the marks they got in their qualifying exams.
  • It's important for students trying to pursue Master's programmes to know that the merit list will be based on the Aptitude Test and the marks they scored in their qualifying exam if two students score the same marks. 
  • Undergraduate students should know that if two students get the same marks, the merit list will be based on Mental Agility, Physics, Chemistry, and the marks they got in the GBPUAT qualifying exam. In case both students get the same score, the elder student gets priority.
