Note- “**” signifies that 9 Seats i.e. 15% of the sanctioned intake in every discipline shall be filled up via nomination from industry partners (NTPC and NHPC 7.5% each) as per the applicable admission norms.
The college choice needs to be provided during the filling of the HPCET application form 2024.

Candidates must submit the application form after filling all the details. If one fails to do so, her/his form will stand cancelled.

Candidates are suggested to check the scholarship opportunities, year of establishment, alumni and important details that will give a good idea about the performance of the college.
Candidates should prefer colleges that provide great opportunities and platforms to the students where they can showcase their talent.
Check the past record of the institutes or talk to their alumni to get an idea of whether the institutes encourage their students’ talent or not.
Candidates must be aware of previous years’ cut-off of the desired college so that they can prepare accordingly.
Once candidates have submitted their forms, no changes regarding college or course choice will be entertained. So, aspirants are advised to be careful while mentioning the details on the application form.
Candidates who fail to appear for the final examination will have their form cancelled automatically.
Candidates selected based upon the HPCET 2024 merit list will be eligible to participate in the counselling process of HPCET 2024. Candidates have to register first in order to participate in the HPCET counselling 2024. Candidates will be allotted seats based upon the HPCET merit list 2024, availability of seats at the participating colleges and the choices provided by the candidates. Candidates will be required to be present in person at the counselling centres for the document verification process.
