It is important for candidates to meet the eligibility criteria for Jharkhand Paramedical Entrance Competitive Examination to apply for the exam. The JPECE 2026 eligibility criteria include residency, educational qualifications, and age limits set by the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB). Only after meeting the entry requirements for the exam, candidates are allowed to move forward with their online registration. If one submits her/ his application without managing to meet the criteria, her/ his application will stand cancelled. Jharkhand Paramedical Entrance Competitive Examination is a state-level examination conducted in Online (Computer-based) format.
The JPECE 2026 eligibility criteria will be released by the exam conducting authority on the official website along with the notification. Before filling out the JPECE 2026 application form, you must check the eligibility criteria of Jharkhand PECE 2026 that have been provided below.
Jharkhand domicile criteria: You must be permanent residents or local residents as defined by the Government of Jharkhand or have a domicile to be eligible for JPECE 2026.
Educational Qualification: For the Intermediate Level like Diploma in Pharmacy/Paramedical courses, you must have Passed 10+2/ Intermediate in the Science stream with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) or Biology (PCB).
Minimum Marks: Matriculation Level courses like Dresser or Medical Lab Attendant require you to pass 10th or Matric or equivalent exam with a minimum aggregate of 35%.
Age Limit: For intermediate-level courses, your minimum age should not be less than 17 years as of December 31 of the exam year, for e.g. 2026. No upper age limit has been specified. No age limit has been mentioned for Diploma in Paramedical. There are no minimum or maximum age restrictions for matriculation-level courses.

Educational Qualification: You must have completed Class 10/ Senior Secondary/ Matric level of education or equivalent from a recognised board.
Subjects Required: Must have studied Science.
Nativity: You must be the permanent or local resident of Jharkhand.
Minimum Age: 17 years as of December 31, 2026
Age Limit: No upper age limit
