PAU CET 2025 Exam Pattern: Before taking the PAU Entrance Exam, students should understand the exam pattern and marking scheme. Knowing the exam pattern and the marking scheme will help students know what to expect and feel more confident in their preparation. The PAU CET exam has a duration of 3 hours and consists of 200 multiple-choice questions, each carrying 1 mark. The exam is conducted offline and is available only in English. Successful students can apply for B.Sc (Hons) in Agriculture, B.Tech in Food Technology, and B.Tech in Biotechnology programs.
The PAU question paper is divided into 3 sections. Sections I and II (Physics and Chemistry) are compulsory for all students, and each will include 66 one-mark questions. The third section is optional and will include either 68 one-mark questions (Home Science/Agriculture/Biology) or 34 two-mark questions (Mathematics). One-mark questions will have a negative marking of 0.25.
