4-Year B.Tech in Food Technology

  • Applicants must be at least 10+2 qualified from any recognised Board

  • Applicants must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics/Agriculture, and have a qualifying exam score of more than 50% in the aforementioned subjects combined.

  • Candidates with a certificate course in Food Processing and Preservation from SLIET, Longowal are also eligible to apply   

4-Year B.Tech in Biotechnology

  • Applicants must be at least 10+2 qualified from any recognised Board

  • Applicants must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics/Agriculture, and have a qualifying exam score of more than 50% in the aforementioned subjects combined.

4-Year B.Sc (Hons) in Agriculture, Horticulture, Agribusiness Management. Nutrition & Dietetics

  • Applicants must be at least 10+2 qualified from any recognised Board

  • Applicants must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics/Agriculture, and have a qualifying exam score of more than 50% in the aforementioned subjects combined.

  • Candidates with a 2-Year diploma in Agriculture are also eligible to apply

5-Year Integrated M.Sc. (Hons.) Programmes (Biochemistry/Botany/Zoology/Chemistry/Microbiology)

  • Applicants must be at least 10+2 qualified from any recognised Board

  • Applicants must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics/Agriculture, and have a qualifying exam score of more than 50% in the aforementioned subjects combined.

What is the entrance exam for PAU CET?

The PAU-CET-UG allows students to pursue careers in agriculture, food technology, and other allied sciences. To apply for the PAU-CET-UG, candidates must have completed their 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and/or Mathematics as required subjects.

Can I get direct admission to Punjab Agricultural University?

The Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) Merit list is compiled using aggregate marks. Those whose names appear in the merit column are invited to attend PAU Counselling sessions or personal interviews. Candidates with ICAR qualifications are eligible for direct admission to Bachelor's/Master's/PhD programmes.
