The Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) counselling will be held by the collaborating academic institutions of Symbiosis International University (Deemed). SET results have been declared on May 22, 2024, and applicants who meet the Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) cut-off grades will be invited to the next round of admissions. Group Session, Written Ability Test, and Interview Schedule are the SET exam 2024 counselling rounds. After the results and cut off scores are announced, applicants can fill out the Symbiosis Institutes application form.
The counselling process generally involves two rounds, WAT (Written Ability Test) and PI (Personal Interview). Elaborated below are the information regarding both the round. This year, WAT will be conducted in online mode after the respective tests.
WAT (Written Ability Test)- Candidates are generally required to go through PAT (Picture Association Test) and attempt to write a short essay on the topics allotted by the panel of judges. Depending on the institute, the WAT could also include subjective type questions and answers on the topic given. Symbiosis Centre of Media and Communication conducts a Studio Test along with PI and WAT.
PI (Personal Interaction/Personal Interview)- The candidate will have to go through an interview with a panel of experts. The panel might include members from Industries or from Academics. The question raised at the PI round will be covered from-

They will be admitted to the college of their choice depending on their results in the Symbiosis Entrance Test 2024 and the PI-WAT. The SET test counselling timetable will be communicated to the candidates who are taking the exam.
After the conclusion of the WAT, PI and ST the institutes will announce a merit list based on the following.

If the applicant decides to accept the assigned seat and affirms their enrollment, they must pay a provisional acceptance fee of Rs. 1,000,000. The applicant must make a Demand Draft billed to "Symbiosis Institute of Technology, Pune" in order to be considered. After acceptance is effective, applicants must pick up their provisional acceptance letter from the Director's office.
