    • The exam consists of three stages namely Prelims, Mains and Interview.

    • Prelims stage contains multiple-choice questions and Mains stage contains subjective type questions.

    • The prelims stage comprises two papers: Paper I and Paper-II.

    • Paper I contains 100 questions that need to be solved in 120 minutes.

    • Paper-II contains 80 questions that need to be solved in 2 hours.

    • Paper I carries a weightage of 200 marks. For every correct answer, candidates will be awarded 2 marks and for every wrong answer, 0.66 marks will be deducted from the total marks. 

    • Paper I is counted for preparing merit list. 

    • Paper II also carries a weightage of 200 marks. For every correct answer, candidates will be awarded 2.5 marks and for every wrong answer, 0.83 marks will be deducted from the total score. 

    • Candidates only need to score 33% of the total score i.e., 66 marks to qualify Paper II.
