MHT CET 2025 Counselling

MHT CET 2025 Counselling will tentatively begin in July 2025 by the Government of Maharashtra Common Entrance Test Cell. The counselling process begins once the scorecard/result for the MH CET exam is released and comprises steps like document verifications, display of provisional and final merit lists, option form filling, and allotment of seats and reporting to the allotted college. Only candidates who will qualify for the MHT CET 2025 exam will be eligible for the MHT CET counselling 2025

MHT CET Counselling Dates 2025

MHT CET Counselling 2025 - Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who wish to participate in the MHT CET counselling process 2025 are required to qualify for the Maharashtra CET entrance exam. Furthermore, candidates need to meet the minimum admission MHT CET eligibility criteria 2025 before registering for the counselling.

MHT CET Counselling 2025 - Documents Required

MHT CET Counselling Process 2025

The MHT CET counselling process begins only after the conclusion of the online application process for CAP. What is Maharashtra State Candidature?

Maharashtra State Candidature is specifically applicable to students who have passed the qualifying exam in a specific university jurisdiction or area. The candidates can check the list of regions that fall under the jurisdiction of various universities in Maharashtra below.

Note: Maharashtra Candidature category students may view the list of engineering/ pharmacy colleges located in the districts that fall under the jurisdiction of a specific university during the choice filling process.

Applicability of Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme (TFWS)

The conducting body reserves 5% of seats available in the engineering/pharmacy programmes offered by different institutes under the Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme (TWFS). The TFWS is relevant specifically for those colleges where 30% of the seats get filled via the Centralised Admission Process (CAP). The tuition fee is specifically the only waiver under this scheme. Candidates coming under the Maharashtra Candidature category are eligible to apply for admission across engineering and pharmacy programmes under TFWS. Candidates qualifying MHT CET 2025 should keep in mind that his/her parent’s family income must not be more than Rs. 6,00,000 per annum for them to be eligible for the scheme.

MHT CET Seat Reservation Policy 2025

Candidates residing in the state of Maharashtra  are only eligible for reservation via the MHT CET counselling process 2025. The seats available for the engineering/pharmacy programmes across the different institutes of the state are filled according to the reservation policy of the Maharashtra government. The seat reservation is only relevant for the MHT CET 2025 Centralised Admission Process (CAP). The division of seats as per the different categories has been mentioned below.

How to Apply for MHT CET Counselling 2025?

The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, is in charge of conducting the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) for granting admission to eligible candidates. The conducting body releases the online application form for candidates with a valid MHT CET 2025 score. Candidates will have to fill up the application form of MHT CET counselling 2025 from the official website. While applying for the MHT CET counselling 2025, candidates will have to upload the scanned copies for the required documents.

MHT CET CAP Registration Fee 2025

MHT CET Seat Allotment 2025

The MHT CET Seat Allotment 2025 will be released after every round of MHT CET counselling 2025. The counselling process of MHT CET takes place online across three rounds via a Centralised Admission Process (CAP). Candidates will be able to check the MHT CET seat allotment result 2025 using the MHT CET 2025 application ID and password. Candidates who are allotted seats will be required to download their MHT CET 2025 Seat Allotment letter and report to the allotted institute for the further admission process.

MHT CET Merit List 2025

The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra will release the MHT CET 2024 merit list on its official website along with the MHT CET 2024 result. Primarily, the provisional merit list of MHT CET 2024 will be released for raising objections. The final merit list of MHT CET 2024 will be released after taking into consideration the objections raised by the candidates. The seat allotment of  MHT CET is done based upon the rank secured by the candidates as per the MHT CET merit list.

MHT CET Web Options 2025

The MHT CET choice filling process is conducted after the closure of the MHT CET counselling registration. Candidates are required to submit their college and course preferences in a sequential order. Candidates are advised to be carefully while undertaking the MHT CET choice filling 2025 as they’ll be allotted seats on the basis of the MHT CET choice filling process 2025.
