AIIMS BSc Paramedical Eligibility Requirements:

  1. Citizenship: The applicants must be Indian citizens.

  2. Age: As of December 31, 2024, candidates must be at least 17 years old.

  3. Education: The candidates must have passed Class 12 or its equivalent from a recognized institution or board.

Mandatory Subjects in Class 12:

  • For Bachelor of Optometry, BSc Medical Technology in Radiotherapy, or BSc (Hons) Medical Technology in Radiography courses, candidates must have completed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, English, and either Biology or Mathematics. For all other courses, studying Biology is mandatory.

Minimum Marks in Class 12:

  • General/OBC/EWS category candidates must have scored at least 50%.

  • SC/ST category candidates must have scored at least 45%.

Additional Requirements for Male Nurses (if passed before 2003):

  • Male candidates, in addition to being registered as a nurses with the State Nursing Council, should have obtained a certificate in General Nursing.

  • Instead of training in Midwifery, male candidates should have undergone training in any one of the following subjects for six months:

  • Neurological and Neurosurgical Nursing

  • Community Health Nursing

  • Cancer Nursing

  • Leprosy Nursing

  • TB Nursing
