About CPNET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

CPNET 2025 eligibility criteria are a set of requirements that candidates must meet to be categorised as eligible for the application to CPNET 2025. The eligibility norms for CPNET 2025 are prescribed by its conducting authority - Uttar Pradesh University of Medical Sciences. The examination is a medium to get admission to various Paramedical, Pharmacy and Nursing courses offered by the schools affiliated under UPUMS. But, in order to achieve that, it is important that CPNET 2025 aspirants meet the CPNET eligibility criteria 2025.

NOTE: 

  • According to the conducting authority of CPNET 2025, aspirants must assess their eligibility themselves before applying for the exam. The examination body will not be assessing candidates’ eligibility. 

  • At the time of CPNET 2025 counselling, the eligibility will be checked through original documents. Candidates who fail to match up the requirements will be denied admission on the spot.

CPNET 2025 Age Criteria

  • The minimum age criteria for CPNET 2025 is 17 years. The candidates should have attained the age of 17 years on 31st December 2025. 

  • Candidates younger than 17 years will not be considered eligible to apply for the examination. 

  • The maximum age criteria for CPNET 2025 (GNM) is 35 years. The candidates must attain this age before 31st December 2025.

  • Candidates who have turned 31 before 31st December 2025 are considered eligible for CPNET 2025 (ANM).

CPNET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

CPNET Eligibility Criteria 2025:

  • The candidate must be a resident/ domicile of Uttar Pradesh. 

  • Candidates who have passed their high school, Intermediate, and equivalent, examinations from Uttar Pradesh are not required to submit their domicile from Uttar Pradesh. 

  • If a candidate has either pursued her/his Secondary School Certificate and Intermediate examination (or equivalent) or any of both from outside Uttar Pradesh, the candidate will have to present their domicile or similar document to prove that they are a citizen of the state.

  • For admission to the ANM course, only female candidates are allowed to apply for CPNET 2025.

CPNET Educational Qualification 2025 for BMLT, BRIT, BPT, and B.Optom.

  • Candidates should have passed the Intermediate examination or equivalent with Physics, Biology, and Chemistry as main subjects. 
  • Candidates should have scored a minimum of 50 percent marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

  • For candidates belonging to ST and SC category, the minimum score requirement is 45 per cent.

CPNET Educational Qualification 2025 for B.Sc. Nursing

  • Candidates should have passed separately in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English in 12th grade.

  • Candidates from the general category are required to have scored at least 45 per cent marks in aggregate in Chemistry, Physics, and Biology. 

  • For candidates from SC and ST category, the minimum scores required are 40 per cent. 

  • Candidates must have passed in English separately. 

  • Students from centrally recognised NIOS (National Institute of Open School) and Uttar Pradesh govt. recognised state open school, who have passed Intermediate exams or equivalent with Science subjects and English are also considered eligible.

CPNET Educational Qualification 2025 for B.Pharm

  • Candidates must have passed Intermediate examination or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and/or Mathematics and English as main subjects. 

  • Students must have passed in all the above-mentioned subjects, separately

CPNET Educational Qualification 2025 for GNM

  • The minimum education requirement for CPNET G.N.M. 2025 is passing 10 + 2 or equivalent with a minimum of 40 per cent marks. 

  • SC and ST category students will be considered eligible with at least 35% marks. 

CPNET Educational Qualification 2025 for ANM

  • Candidates must have completed an intermediate level of education. 

  • Candidates with qualification equivalent to 10 + 2 are also eligible.

CPNET Educational Qualification 2025 for Diploma Courses

The Diploma courses offered through CPNET 2025 are:

  1. Diploma in O.T. Technician (DOT)

  2. Diploma in Optometry Technician (D.Optom.)

  3. Diploma in Physiotherapy Technician (DPT)

  4. Diploma in Dialysis Technician (DDT)

  5. Diploma in C.T. Scan Technician (DCT Scan)

  6. Diploma in Cardiology Technician (DCT)

  7. Diploma in M.R.I. Technician (DMRI)

  8. Diploma in Emergency and Trauma Care Technician (DETCT)

  9. Diploma in Blood Transfusion Technician (DBT) 

The education qualifications required for the courses are: 

  • An intermediate or equivalent level of certificate.

  • Candidates should have completed 10 + 2 passing with Chemistry, Biology/ Mathematics, and Physics.

  • The reservation policies will be governed as per the latest guidelines. 

  • In order to avail the benefits of reservation policies, candidates must provide their Birth Certificates as per the format determined by the governing body.

  • Candidates availing the above reservation benefits must present their original relevant documents at the time of CPNET counselling 2025.

  • The OBC certificate submitted by students must be dated on or after April 1st, 2025.

  • After getting guidelines from the governing body, 10 per cent reservation will be permissible to candidates belonging to EWS category.
