AIIMS PG Seat Allotment Process
The seat allotment of AIIMS PG is made on the basis of choices or options filled by the candidates while exercising options as a part of AIIMS PG counselling. Once the seat allotment result of AIIMS PG is announced, the candidates will have the following options to choose -
Option 1 - Accept the Seat
Candidates who are satisfied with the seat allotment of AIIMS PG can click on ‘Accept’. These candidates are not eligible to participate in the further rounds of AIIMS PG counselling and seat allotment of AIIMS PG.
Option 2 - Accept Seat and Want to Participate in 2nd Round
Candidates who wish to accept the seat and wants an upgradation further can choose ‘Accept Seat and Want to Participate in 2nd Round’. Such candidates must join the seat allocated by upgradation in the 2nd round. These candidates can’t retain the seat that he/ she was allocated in the first round.
Option 3 - Decline/ Refuse and Opt-Out of Counselling
Candidates who wish to refuse the seat and opt-out of AIIMS PG counselling (January 2020) can choose ‘Decline/ Refuse and Opt Out of Counselling’ option. These candidates are not eligible for AIIMS PG admission process (January 2020).
Option 4 - Decline/ Refuse and Want to Participate in 2nd Round
Candidates who are not satisfied with the seat allotment in the first round and looking for a better option in the subsequent rounds can choose the option that indicates ‘Decline/ Refuse and Want to Participate in 2nd Round’.
Post Seat Allotment of AIIMS PG
After the seat allotment, candidates who have secured the seat must follow the steps mentioned below -
- Report to the allocated AIIMS within the specified date.
- The candidates will have to deposit a DD (Demand Draft) of Rs. 3,00,000 along with the original documents.
- Candidates who have chosen Option 4 in the seat allotment should also deposit the original documents and DD of Rs, 3,00,000 within the specified date.
