AIL LET Exam Pattern 2025: The AIL LET exam pattern is specified by the Army Institute of Law, Mohali, along with the notification for the application form. Knowing the test pattern is important as it highlights the number of components involved, weightage, overall marks, marking system, etc.
Mental Ability, General Knowledge and Current Affairs, Law Aptitude, and General English are the main divisions of AIL LET 2025. The minimum pass percentage in the admission test is 25%. The questions in the AIL LET test paper will be presented in an objective format where for each question, four possible answer options will be provided from which the candidates have to choose the best possible response. Because AIL LET is an online exam, the candidates have the option to change their responses before clicking on the โNextโ button.
Once the candidates click on the โNextโ button, their response to the question asked will be finally submitted and the next question will appear on the screen. The candidates have to follow this procedure until and unless all the 200 questions have been answered. For wrong responses and unattempted questions, there will be no negative marking.

Candidates will have to answer 50 questions each from the General Knowledge and Current Affairs and Law Aptitude section per the exam pattern of AIL LET 2023. The other two sections of the test also have 50 questions each.
When candidates receive similar marks in the AIL LET 2023, the student with more marks in the last qualifying examination will get preference. In case it is not resolved at this stage, then the elder candidate will be preferred.
