AIL LET 2025 Education Eligibility Criteria

  • The applicant must have cleared 10+2 level education from Punjab School Education Board

  • Students who have completed their 10+2 level education from an equivalent recognised Board as such the Punjab School Education Board which must be recognised by the Punjabi University, Patiala  

  • The applicants must have qualified the aforementioned exam with a minimum of 45% aggregate

  • Application forms for AIL LET 2025 of those applicants will be rejected who have completed their 10+2 level education from any Open Universities and do not possess basic qualifications to pursue such studies

  • Applicants taking their 10+2 level qualifying exam in March-April 2025 can also apply for AIL LET 2025 provided they pass the same with the minimum required qualifying marks (mentioned above)

  • Applicants appearing for compartment papers of the qualifying level exam are not eligible to apply for AIL LET 2025

  • Applicants passing the qualifying level exam from an Institution not recognised by the Punjabi University have to produce an eligibility certificate from the Punjabi University, Patiala during the interview round. Failing to do so will attract cancellation of candidature of such applicants

  • In case a delay in qualifying exam result, the AIL LET applicants must contact their respective Board/University officials.

AIL LET 2025 Eligibility Criteria for Army Personnel Wards

Applicants applying under this category have to fulfil certain eligibility criteria to be considered eligible by the officials which are as follows:

  • Father/Mother currently serving in the Indian Army for a minimum of 10 years (without any discontinuation) 

  • Wards of ex-servicemen awarded/granted a regular pension, disability pension or family pension, liberalized family pension at the time of - 

  1. Demise

  2. Superannuation

  3. Invalided/released medical board

  4. Discharge

  • Wards of Defence personnel granted Disability Pension or medically boarded out

  • Wards of Defence personnel who opted for premature retirement after a minimum of 10 years of service in the armed forces

AIL LET 2025 Eligibility Criteria for Wards of Remarried Widows/Step Wards/Adopted Wards

  • Wards adopted by army personnel at least 5 years before the date of applying for AIL LET

  • Stepwards born from a wedding where either of the parents belonged to the army
