About AP PGLCET 2025 (Application Form Out)

AP PGLCET 2025: APSCHE issued the AP PGLCET 2025 application form at cets.apsche.ap.gov.in/LAWCET on March 25, 2025. Eligible applicants can fill out the online form by April 27, 2025, without a late fee. If anyone misses the deadline, there is a provision to complete the form submission by paying a late fee as well. However, the application charges will vary per the schedule.

The AP PGLCET 2025 hall ticket will be available for download from May 30 onwards, and the admission test will be organised on June 5, 2025. The preliminary answer key will be launched on June 6, 2025, 6 pm. Objections against the preliminary key will be accepted between June 7, 11 am and June 8, 2025, 5 pm.

AP PGLCET is held to select candidates for the LLM programme at the participating colleges. The total mark is 120, and the questions are multiple-choice based on topics such as constitutional law, mercantile law, jurisprudence, public international law, crimes and torts, labour laws, IPR, and other laws. AP PGLCET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

The applicants must meet the AP PGLCET eligibility criteria to gain admission. They must have completed a 3-year or 5-year LLB degree. No minimum percentage of marks is required. Candidates expecting their final year results of the last degree qualifying examination can also apply. They must be Indian nationals and meet the Local/ non-local status norms as per the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions Order, 1974.

AP PGLCET 2025 Application Form

AP PGLCET application form is typically issued in March every year. Candidates who meet the eligibility are required to complete the application online within the deadline. The 4 steps include - checking the eligibility and fee payment, confirming the status of the payment, filling out the form, submitting the form and taking its printout. The AP PGLCET application fee is Rs 1000 for the Open Category. 

Some of the main documents required for the application process are Credit Card / Debit Card / Net Banking details, Marks memos or Hall Ticket Number of Degree/ Intermediate or 10th, 10th standard Certificate or Equivalent Certificate, Income Certificate, Local Status Certificate, Study Certificates from Class 6 to 10+2, Degree or Diploma or PG degree Certificates, Caste Certificate, Aadhaar Card, Passport-Size photo per specified file size, Special Category certificate, etc.

AP PGLCET 2025 Syllabus

AP PGLCET syllabus provides the list of subjects and topics necessary for preparation. There are 2 parts. Part A consists of Jurisprudence and Constitutional Law and Part B includes Public International Law, Mercantile Law, Labour Law, Crimes and Torts, IPR & Other Laws. 

The entrance test assesses the candidatesโ€™ knowledge of recent developments in the fields of Law, Legal Reasoning, Legal Principles, Torts, Criminal Law, Jurisprudence, etc.

AP PGLCET 2025 Exam Pattern

AP PGLCET exam pattern indicates the number of sections, weightage per segment, marking scheme, overall marks, etc. It is crucial to know the pattern as it helps the exam takers strategise their preparation and understand which components they must put more emphasis on based on weightage. 

AP PGLCET is a computer-based test that has an overall score of 120 and a duration of 90 minutes. Part A (Jurisprudence and Constitutional Law) has 40 marks and Part B (Public International Law, Mercantile Law, Labour Law, Crimes and Torts, IPR & Other Laws) has 80 marks.

AP PGLCET 2025 Admit Card

The AP PGLCET admit card is accessible to only those candidates who register for the entrance test. They must obtain the hall tickets to appear for the test. Along with it, they must bring a Government-issued photo identification document. 

After the test, they must retain the AP PGLCET hall ticket as it may be required later to check the results and during counselling. To retrieve the admit card, they must visit cets.apsche.ap.gov.in and enter the necessary credentials.

AP PGLCET 2025 Answer Key

AP PGLCET answer key is issued in 2 phases - preliminary and revised/ final. Initially, the provisional key is launched. If there are any errors, the candidates can raise objections against it. The conducting body issues the final answer key after reviewing the grievances. 

AP PGLCET 2025 Result

AP PGLCET result is typically released within a few weeks after the admission test. To check the results, the examinees must visit the official website. The qualifying mark in AP PGLCET is 30 out of 120. Please note that there is no minimum qualifying mark for ranking for the SC and ST categories.

AP PGLCET 2025 Counselling

AP PGLCET counselling typically is organised in 2 to 3 rounds. Only candidates who qualify the admission test are eligible to complete the online registration and e-verification of certificates. The registered individuals can then take part in the AP PGLCET web options process and exercise college selections. Based on their choices, the AP PGLCET seat allotment is declared.
