DU LLB 2024 Counselling Application Form Filling
Once the online platform for PG admissions is launched by the university, candidates have to fill out the CSAS(PG)-2024 application form online via the same medium. The university does not offer offline form filling.
New Registration
Candidates have to register for CSAS PG by using the using the “New Registration” link. The aspirants will have to provide the below details to complete the CSAS PG 2024 registration -
- Application Number of CUET PG 2024
- Candidate Name as per CUET PG 2024
- Birth date as per CUET PG 2024
- Email Address
- Phone Number
They have to type the OTP they receive on their email address. Upon completing the registration, the aspirants must log in to their dashboard to fill out the CSAS PG 2024 application form.
Profile Section
- In this section, the applicants have to type in their details.
- The data the candidates enter must match the particulars mentioned in the documents or certificates.
- Mismatches may lead to the non-acceptance of the CSAS PG 2024 application form at any stage. Once they submit the application form, they cannot edit some details like the parent’s name, the category/ sub-category/ caste/ supernumerary quota, Gender, Email ID, mobile number, and bank details.
Document Upload
- Aspirants must upload the essential documents in this step.
- They must take utmost care to attach authentic documents.
- If they submit any false documents, the aspirants will be debarred from admission and action will be taken against them. Additionally, no fees will be refunded in such circumstances.
Preview
- Aspirants must preview the application form before submitting it.
- Candidates will get the option of editing their form if needed. They must read the details of the form before moving to the program selection step.
Submit and Lock
- Once the candidates have filled in the Profile section, and uploaded the documents, they can confirm their details by pressing the “Submit and Lock” button.
- Please note, that they cannot edit or change the information of the Profile section if they have locked and submitted the form.
Programme Selection and Preference Filling
For seat allocation, programme selection and preference filling are crucial. Candidates must choose the programme and the Department or Centre or College they wish to take admission to.
Programme Section
- Please note that, for this segment, the aspirants will be eligible to apply only to the programme related to the test papers they decided for CUET PG.
- For the LLB programme at DU, they have to pick up such relevant test papers for CUET PG via which they will be qualified to receive allocation through CSAS PG 2024.
Confirmation of Eligibility
- Candidates have to confirm the Programme-specific eligibility criteria. They must check the bulletin on the official website for details.
- Depending on the programme-specific eligibility conditions opted by the candidate, their merit will be determined.
Providing Preferences
- In this stage, the aspirants must pick out the department or college preference related to their preferred programme.
- However, they must take utmost caution while giving their preferences an order as the seat allocation will be based on that sequence.
- There is a provision to reorder the choices if the aspirant wants to change the arrangement of them.
- It is recommended that the aspirants provide as many preferences as allowed to gain a seat allocation.
Academic Section
- At this level, the candidates will have to submit their graduation or postgraduation or the last qualifying examination details.
- They have to state the percentage secured in the last qualifying degree.
Confirming Preferences for the Selected Programme
- In this phase, the aspirants can preview their CSAS PG 2024 application form.
- They must make sure to check all the details and once they are sure they can move to make the payment.
- Once the aspirants have paid the fee for a particular programme, they will not be able to edit or modify or delete the choices they submitted.
- After form submission, editing of the choices will not be permitted.
- Candidates will be considered for allocation only after the payment has been made successfully.
- To pay the fee, aspirants must use the Payment Gateway link available on the dashboard of the candidate portal.
- The fee cannot be paid by any other method except the online payment gateway.
Programme-Specific Uploads and Payment
- As per the selected eligibility criteria for the programme, aspirants have to furnish a Migration Certificate/ Undertaking of Migration Certificate/ ID Card issued by the last institute or college of the University of Delhi.
- For all payments, applicants have to utilise either of any of these payment mediums such as Net Banking/ Debit Card/ Credit Card/ UPI.
Seat Allocation and Admission
Once the merit list is announced, the aspirants must check the list and then log in to the CSAS PG 2024 portal to accept the allocated seat, if they have obtained allocation. The university will not send any offline communication to the candidates regarding seat allotment.
The applicants must check online if they have been allocated a seat from the dashboard of the CSAS PG portal.
Accepting the Provisionally Allocated Seat
- Once the aspirant has been allocated a seat in a particular phase of counselling, they must “Accept” the assigned seat within the deadline given for that round.
- If there is no action on the part of the candidate regarding the allocated seat, then it will be viewed as a refusal of the provisionally allotted seat. Such a candidate will not be considered for participation in the further counselling rounds.
Online Approval by the Related Department or Centre or College
- After the aspirants accept the allocated seat, the conducting authority will verify the minimum eligibility, course-specific eligibility, and CUET PG scores.
- The department will cross-check the validity and authenticity of the certificates and documents submitted by the candidate.
- After verification, the department/ centre/ college will approve or reject the provisional allotment.
- If the allotment is approved, the student will have to complete the admission fee payment.
Clarifying the Queries During Seat Approvals
- Candidates have to respond to the query via the candidate’s dashboard within the stipulated period, if any raised by the Department or Centre or College during the online seat approval process.
- If the aspirants do not answer the query or queries then it will result in the rejection of their allotment and the candidate will not be out of the admission process.
Completing Admission to the Allocated Seat
- The admission process will be complete after the candidates pay the admission fee after seat approval.
- If the payment is not made within the timeline given, then it will be counted as cancellation of the allocation.
- The aspirant will not be considered for the subsequent rounds of allotment.
