GNDU GMET 2021 Counselling

The counselling for GNDU GMET 2021 will begin soon after the examination result is out. After that, only the candidates who make it to the merit list will be called to participate in the counselling process. For this, candidates are required to be present physically. For the year 2021, the counselling process is expected to begin in the month of August. It is a must for candidates to meet the requirements for counselling rounds. If, at any point, it is found that a particular candidate fails to meet the requirements then the conducting authority has the right to disqualify the candidate.

How to Apply for GNDU GMET 2021 Conselling

Here are the simple steps that one needs to follow to applyf or the counselling process:

  • Candidates need to log on to the official website of Guru Nanak Dev University.

  • Thereafter, they must click on 'GNDU Admission' link and then click on the “Campus Admission 2021” link that will appear on the next page.

  • Candidates are required to go through the whole notification and register themselves by choosing the suitable course of their choice at the time of counselling procedure

  • All candidates, whether being admitted on the basis of the merit in the qualifying examination or through an entrance test, are required to appear for an Interview.

  • If the number of qualifying candidates is more than the seats available, the coordinator has the right to call only a limited number of candidates in order of merit in the GNDU GMET 2021.

  • Candidates appearing in Interview need to carry with them Original degrees/Diplomas/Reserved category Certificates for verification.

  • Accordingly, admission is made against General categories followed by admission for Reserved categories and if any Reserved seat remains unfilled, it is treated as open for admission from General category candidates.

  • The shortlisted candidates have to deposit their fee within two working days after the admission slip is issued.

  • All admissions would be provisional and liable to cancellation if at any stage the information furnished by the candidate is found to be false.

  • If a candidate does not join the course and withdraws the seat after getting admission slip, the fee and funds deposited by the candidate would be refunded after deduction of processing charges – INR 1200/-.

Documents Required for GNDU GMET Counselling

  • It is mandatory for each candidate to bring the following documents in Originals and their self attested Photocopies.

  • Class 10 Marksheet or Certificate or equivalent examination Certificate as proof of Date of Birth

  • Marksheet of qualifying examination

  • Character certificate issued by the Principal of last college or school

  • 2 recent Passport size Photographs attested by the Principal of the College or School last attended/gazetted officer

  • Reservation certificate (if applicable),

  • Residence certificate wherever applicable.

Note: Students from other than GNDU have to submit migration and eligibility certificate following their admission as per the University rules and regulations.
