Indira Gandhi National Open University will not be conducting the OPENMAT entrance exam for this year. Students can get admission into MBA and PGDM courses by filling out the admission form available on the website. The application form was released by IGNOU on May 30 and the last date to apply has been extended to September 22, 2022. The direct link to fill out the application form is given here:

Candidates need to follow a few instructions to fill in the IGNOU 2022 application form which are available on the official website or are also written on the application form bulletin. But once the form is submitted, candidates cannot make any corrections. Candidates need to upload their signature and scanned documents in a specific format. The university has released guidelines for the same:
The photograph should be less than 100 KB in size and should be in JPG/JPEG format
The signature should be less than 50 KB in size and should be in JPG/JPEG format
Here's the complete online application process for MBA admissions 2022 in IGNOU:
The first step is Registration and generation of User ID and Password.
Click on the tab “Register Online”.
After this, the drop-down list will display several options. Candidates must select the “Online Admission” tab.
They will be directed to the online admission system (OAS) homepage initiated by IGNOU University.
Here, candidates will have to click on the tab indicating 'Register Yourself'.
Remember that a Username must be between 8 to 16 characters.
While choosing a password, ensure that it must be alphanumeric and between 8 to 16 characters.
Enter basic details such as name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, mobile number, email address, gender, nationality, and password.
After filling in the mandatory information, click the 'SUBMIT' tab.
Then, the candidates receive an email which will be sent to the registered email address and SMS with a link to the login page and login credentials.

Once the candidates have uploaded their photograph and signature, click the next button. They will get the Form preview option. Save/Print their form for future reference.
The online application fee is 800 for the general category. Reserved category candidates will have to pay Rs. 500.
Candidates can make the payment through any of the following modes:
Netbanking
Credit Cards (Master/Visa)
Debit Cards (Master/Visa/Rupay)
Candidates will have to click on the drop-down button and select the mode of payment i.e. net banking, credit card, debit card, etc.
Candidates will have to enter details such as email address, mobile number, card type, name on the card, expiry date, CVV, etc.
The next step is to click on the 'Pay' tab.
Candidates should print the acknowledgment receipt and keep a copy of the same with them for future use and they will also receive an email and SMS regarding the successful submission of the application form.
