The JEECUP 2025 result will be prepared as per the specified marking scheme set by the examination conducting body. Candidates will be awarded 4 marks for each correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect response. Earlier, the provisional answer key of JEECUP 2025 will be released online for candidates to raise objections. The Joint Entrance Examination Council Uttar Pradesh (JEECUP) is an important exam for students who want to study polytechnic courses in Uttar Pradesh. Because many students take this exam, JEECUP is held in multiple sessions to fit everyone in. Each session can have different levels of difficulty, which might seem unfair to some students. To solve this problem, JEECUP uses a process called marks normalization. Marks normalization helps to balance out the differences in difficulty between the various sessions, making sure that all students are treated fairly no matter which session they attend. The main reason of introducing the marks normalization rules for JEECUP 2025, is to keep the exam fair and equal for all candidates.
In the UPJEE Polytechnic 2025 exam, some papers were held in multiple sessions. To account for differences in difficulty levels across these sessions, this normalization process has been applied, based on the assumption that the distribution of candidates' abilities remains the same in all sessions of the multi-session UPJEE (Polytechnic) papers. This makes sense because many students take the exam, and the sessions are assigned randomly. Also, each session has about the same number of students. With this in mind, and after looking at different ways to normalize the scores, the authority came up with a formula to calculate the normalized marks for students in the multi-session papers which is as follows.
After the JEECUP 2025 result, the candidates who have qualified for the exam must participate in the JEECUP 2025 counselling process. Through the counselling process, the candidates will be allotted seats on the basis of their merit obtained in the exam.
