Jharkhand Paramedical Entrance Competitive Examination 2026: Dates, Application, Admit Card, Eligibility, Exam Pattern, Result, Counselling

Jharkhand Paramedical Entrance Competitive Examination, commonly known as PMECE is a pen & paper-based exam conducted by Jharkhand Examination Board (JCECEB). Through the exam, candidates are granted admission to one, two and three-yeas-long Diploma courses in Pharmacy and Paramedical Sciences. The Jharkhand Paramamedical Entrance Competitive Examination will take place in the third week of July 2026. The JCECE notification for the year 2026 is expected to be released around mid-May 2026. The application process is expected to begin in the third week of May 2026 and continue till the first week of July 2026. The provisional answer key will be released 1-2 weeks after the exam, i.e. in the last week of July 2026 or the first week of August 2026. The final results will be made available in August 2026. After the release of the results, the counselling process will be conducted in September-October 2026.

Following are the eligibility criteria for the JPECE 2026 exam:

Educational Qualification: You must have completed Class 12 level of education or equivalent from a recognised board. 

Subjects Required: You must have studied Science subjects in Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Biology. 

Nativity: You must be the permanent or local resident of Jharkhand. 

Minimum Age: The minimum age for Diploma in Pharmacy is 17 years as of December 31, 2026. No minimum age has been mentioned for Diploma in Paramedical.

Age Limit: No upper age limit.

• Visit the official website of Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB).

• Surf through the homepage of the website to find an Online Application link. 

• By clicking on that link, you will be redirected to the application portal. 

• There, you will first have to register using your personal details. 

• Then, you will have to log into the site using your login credentials.

• The next step would be filling the form diligently by entering all the required valid information. 

• Then, upload your signature, photograph, thumb impression and required documents. 

• Finally, you can submit the form after making an application fee payment. 

• Do not forget to take a printout of the fee receipt.

The JPECE 2026 hall ticket will be released online at the official website, jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in. You will be able to download the admit cards only if you have submitted the application form before the last date. Step 1: Go to the official website jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in or paramedicalcet.jceceb.org.in.

Step 2: Click on the link that says "Download Admit Card" on the homepage to download the hall ticket for the Paramedical Entrance Competitive Examination.

Step 3: Enter the login credentials like the Application Number/ Login ID & Password and click on 'Submit'.

Step 4: The admit card for JPECE 2026 will be displayed on the screen. Download it and save it for future reference.

The JPECE results 2026 will be made available in August/ September 2026. You must visit jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in or paramedical.jceceb.org.in and click on the Paramedical result link to download the results for the JPECE 2026 exam. Enter your registration number, roll number, and date of birth to view your scores, ranks, and merit lists in PDF format.​

If you qualify for the exam, you can proceed to the counselling registration using your roll number and date of birth. Fill in your preferences through online mode. The counselling fees are INR 400 general and INR 250 SC/ST/female. Your merit rank, preferences, category, and seat availability will be taken into consideration during allotment of seats. The document verification will be conducted during admission during which you must Caste Certificate or EWS Certificate (if applicable).
