MAT Result 2024 for the December session will be released by AIMA by the first week of January 2025. Candidates have to download the MAT scorecard from the official website, mat.aima.in, once released. MAT result 2024 will be released in the form of a scorecard containing the sectional and overall score of the candidate. To download the MAT 2024 result, candidates need to log in with their registered Email ID and Password. AIMA also informs the candidates about the declaration of results via SMS and Email. If a candidate has forgotten their MAT 2024 Password, they can use click on the 'Forgot Password' link available on the login page and follow the subsequent steps to reset it. In addition to the participating Institutes, other institutes may also accept MAT scores for admission to Post Graduate Degree or Diploma programs, subject to specified cut-off scores and other admission requirements. Based on MAT scores, candidates are shortlisted by various management institutes. How to Get Duplicate MAT Scorecard 2024

If you happen to misplace the printout of your MAT result 2024 i.e. the scorecard, and if it is not available on the website as well, then you can follow the steps given below to obtain a duplicate MAT scorecard.

Step 1: The first step involves writing a requesting application on a white sheet (A-4 sheet) stating the requirement.

Step 2: Take a printed copy of the MAT Admit card's lower half signed by the invigilator at the exam hall.

Step 3: You will have to send the application (in a 24 cm x 12 cm (approx) size, a self-addressed envelope having an INR 40 postage stamp) by speed post. You must mention the address in Capital letters.

Step 4: You will have to send a Demand Draft of INR 100/- in favour of AIMA at New Delhi (in case you are requesting a duplicate MAT scorecard post 45 days of result declaration).

The validity of the MAT 2024 result is one year. All of the colleges accepting MAT 2024 Scores do not accept MAT 2024 Scorecards that are more than a year old.

What is MAT 2024 Percentile?

MAT 2024 Percentile is one of the key information on the scorecard of a candidate. The percentage of test-takers having a score lower than that of the candidate is known as its MAT 2024 Percentile. MAT 2024 Percentile of a candidate is calculated after calculating the composite score of the candidate. Candidates are then ranked as per their score and the percentile is calculated based on their rank. For example, if 100 candidates appeared for the exam and the candidate's rank was 20, then their percentile will be calculated as (100 - 20)/100 percentile i.e. 80 percentile.

How is MAT 2024 Percentile Calculated

MAT 2024 Score and Percentile are calculated on the basis of marks obtained in four sections of the examination namely, Language Comprehension, Mathematical Skills, Data Analysis & Sufficiency and Intelligence & Critical Reasoning. The score acquired in the Indian & Global Environment section is not taken into consideration.   • Each question asked in the MAT exam carries one mark.

  • 0.25 marks are reduced for each incorrect attempt.

  • No marks are deducted for unattempted questions.

  • Scores below 20 and above 80 are counted as rare.

  • The Composite Score of MAT is reported on a scale of 199 to 801.

  • MAT percentile 2024 is calculated taking into consideration the performance of each candidate versus all candidates.

After the announcement of the MAT result 2024, the MAT participating institutes will release a list of shortlisted candidates on the basis of the MAT cutoff 2024. The cut-off of MAT is different for each B-school.
