NIPER JEE 2025 Eligibility Criteria will be released by the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education & Research (NIPER) in the information bulletin. According to the NIPER JEE eligibility criteria 2025, candidates belonging to the general category has to secure a minimum of 60% in their graduation level while 55% is required for the reserved category candidates. NIPER JEE 2025 Eligibility Criteria: Master’s Courses

Here are the NIPER JEE 2025 eligibility criteria that candidates planning to appear for the NIPER JEE 2025 exam should keep in mind:

  • For M.S. (Pharm.)/M.Pharm./M.Tech. (Pharm.), candidates should have a degree in B.Pharm. or M.Sc. (Biological Sciences) or M.Sc (Organic/Analytical Chemistry/Life Sciences/Botany) or B.Tech. (Chemical Engineering) or equivalent or B.V.Sc. or M.B.B.S. or BAMS.
  • Candidates having 60% marks in aggregate or 6.75 CGPA in the qualifying exam are eligible to apply for the entrance exam.

  • Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe candidates are required to score at least 55% or 6.25 CGPA in the qualifying exam.

  • Physically Handicapped candidates should score at least 50% or 5.75 CGPA in the qualifying exam.

  • Final year candidates can also apply for the entrance exam.

Here are the NIPER JEE 2025 eligibility criteria for PhD pharmacy courses:  

  • In order to be eligible for Ph.D Pharmacy courses, candidates should have done M.S.(Pharm.)/M.Pharm/M.Tech.(Pharm.) in relevant discipline.
  • Candidates should have at least 60% marks in the qualifying exam.

  • Scheduled Caste /Scheduled Tribe candidates should have at least 55% marks in the qualifying exam.

  • Physically Handicapped candidates should score at least 50% in the qualifying exam.

  • Candidates should have a valid GATE, NET or GPAT score.

  • Final year candidates are also eligible to apply for the entrance exam.

Yes foreign nationals can also apply for NIPER JEE although the selection process is different and completely based on merit. 

 

Is there any relaxation for reserved category candidates?

There is a relaxation for candidates belonging to reserved categories. For SC / ST candidates the minimum aggregate percentage required is 55% or 6.25 CGPA and for PwD candidates the minimum aggregate percentage required is 50% or 5.75 CGPA.

 

Is there any age limit for applying to NIPER JEE?

No, there is no specified age limit to apply for the NIPER JEE exam.

Is GPAT or GATE score mandatory for NIPER JEE?

Yes, GPAT (Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test) or GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) is mandatory for Ph.D admissions.

If you have secured a good rank in NIPER JEE 2024, you can apply for NIPER admissions. However, a valid GPAT score is one of the necessary criteria or qualifications for M Pharmacy admissions. The following categories of candidates are exempted from producing a valid GPAT score:

  • Candidates holding BVSc/ MBBS/ BAMS degree
  • Sponsored candidates from Govt. departments, public/private sector undertakings and research and development organizations
  • Foreign nationals
  • Candidates applying as NRI or their wards (in case of MBA Pharm)
