NTSE 2020 Result (Stage 2)

NTSE 2020 Stage 2 result for the exam conducted on February 14 is expected to be released by July 10. National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) is a national level examination conducted by the National Council of Education Research and Training (NCERT). Since the exam is conducted in two stages it becomes necessary for the candidates to clear both the stages to get the Scholarship.  About eight to nine lakh candidates apply for stage 1 of the examination but only 2000 of them are awarded the scholarships.

Every state releases its own result for the first stage of the examination. The result of the second stage is declared by NCERT on its official portal. The NTSE 2020 result will consist of the candidates’ name and roll number along with the overall marks scored by the candidates in the examination.  Candidates must note that only the ones who perform well in the second stage of the examination will make it to the merit list and only those will be considered for the scholarship.

NCERT follows government standards for reservation. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste are given 15% reservation, 7.5% reservation is given to the candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes and Physically Handicapped candidates avail 3% scholarship.
