NTSE 2021 Syllabus

Before starting the Preparation for NTSE, it important to know the NTSE 2021 Syllabus. The syllabus of the examination has been prescribed by the National Council of Education Research and Training (NCERT). NTSE consists of two stages. Each stage has two papers comprising the Mental Ability Test (MAT) and Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT). Each of the papers carries 100 multiple choice questions which means that one stage carries 200 questions. The time duration to complete each paper is 120 minutes. The questions in the SAT are asked from Mathematics, History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. MAT, on the other hand, deals with thinking ability, reasoning and evaluation oriented questions.

It is important for students to focus on every individual unit if they wish to score well in the examination. It is important for candidates to know the entire syllabus of NTSE 2021 as it will help in better exam preparation. Not knowing the syllabus well will make the preparation process very lengthy and hectic. This might also lead students to a probable chance of skipping a topic or two at the time of preparation. Before going through the syllabus, candidates should go through NTSE 2021 Exam Pattern to understand the division of sections and weightage of every topic in the exam and then start preparing for it accordingly.
