SRMJEEE eligibility criteria 2024 have been released by the SRMIST for various courses at srmist.edu. The SRMJEEE 2024 registration process is ongoing. Candidates who will be applying for the SRMJEEE exam 2024 should fulfill all the factors of the eligiblity criteria. The eligibility criteria for SRMJEEEE specify some important details, such as the applicant's academic qualification, age limit, and nationality. To be eligible for SRMJEEE 2024, the candidate must have passed the Class 10+2 or appeared the Class 10+2 in 2024. The candidate must be at least 16 years old before July 31, 2024. If candidates fail to satisfy the eligibility criteria of SRMJEEE 024, it will lead to the cancellation of their admission. Candidates must, therefore, carefully read the SRMJEEE 2024 eligibility criteria given on this page.
SRMJEEE 2024 exam will be held in two phases. The SRMJEEE Phase 1 exam will be held from April 20 to 22, 2024 and the Phase 2 exam will be held from June 21 to 23, 2024.
The SRMJEEE 2024 eligibility criteria for both national and international candidates is different. So candidates who wish to appear for SRMJEEE 2024 must check the eligibility criteria for the national and international candidates.
National Candidates: Candidates belonging to the nation that is the Indian resident, NRI-Non Resident Indians, Persons of Indian Origin, or Overseas Citizenship of India are eligible to apply for SRMJEEE 2024
International Candidates: NRI candidates, Persons of Indian Origin, and candidates who have Overseas Citizenship of India if they do not take SRMJEEE (UG) examination must apply as International candidates.
Age Limit:
All the candidates applying for SRMJEEE must have completed 16 years by the end of December of the year of application.
National Candidate: Should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with at least 50% marks with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects. The minimum qualifying percentage mark for admission to SRM University, Andhra Pradesh, is 60%.
International Candidates: International Baccalaureate must have level A Physics, Chemistry and Maths as major subjects from any international school in India.
National Candidates: Should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with the minimum aggregate percentage with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology/Botany & Zoology/Biotechnology as core subjects.
International Candidates: International Baccalaureate must have level A Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Maths as major subjects from any international school in India.
Applicants who wish to take direct admission through SRMJEEE 2024 must check the SRMJEEE 2024 Eligibility Criteria for Direct Admissions. They must satisfy the eligibility criteria of SRMJEEE in order to avail the facility of direct admission.
For top-rank scorers of Central and State Board exams, direct Admission is granted by SRM University.
For admission to B.Tech courses, SRM University also offers direct admission to the top 10,000 JEE Main rank holders.
Top scorers from Tamil Nadu districts are also offered direct admissions in engineering exams (undergraduate level) of the SRM University
Exemplary sportsperson at the national or international level
International candidates applying for SRMJEEE 2024 (NRI and OCI) should have scored at least 50% marks in aggregate in Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics in the Class XII exam or equivalent exam in India (CBSE/ ISCE/ STPM /A Levels/ WASSCE/ NCEA Level 3/ IB/HSC/American High School Diploma, etc.
In order to be eligible for SRMJEEE 2024, candidates should have scored passing marks in English subject.
There is no Reservation of Seats in SRM University for any category of candidates. Admissions will be done based on the ranking of the candidates in the merit list, which is released after the entrance exam. Also, candidates' eligibility in terms of age, educational qualifications, nationality, etc. will be taken into account at the time of admission. It will be mandatory for candidates to bring all the necessary documents for verification at the time of counselling and the admission process.
