As per the VTUEEE eligibility criteria 2025 applicants should have passed 10+2 with 45%, and 40% for those who belong to the reserved category. There is an age limit in the VTUEEE exam, any applicant above the age of 25 years will not be considered eligible for the exam. VTUEEE Eligibility Criteria 2025 are laid down by Vel Tech University for the aspiring candidates of the VTUEEE 2025 exam. According to the eligibility criteria for the VTUEEE 2025 exam, applicants should not be above 25 years old to appear for the exam. For admissions into the programs through VTUEEE 2025, aspirants should have passed class 12/equivalent with PCM (physics, chemistry, and mathematics) as mandatory subjects. The applicants who are currently appearing for their 12th grade are also eligible for the exam.     • Applicants should not be older than 25 years in age.

    • Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/ Physically Challenged applicants are eligible for age relaxation for up to 5 years.

    • Age relaxation up to 6 months may be given in specific cases

    Qualifying Examination Subject Combination

    • To be eligible for VTUEEE 2025, applicants should have cleared class 12 or equivalent examinations with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.

    • Applicants with a Biology, Physics & Chemistry combination are eligible for B.Tech Biotechnology and B.Tech Biomedical courses.

    Qualifying Examination

    • Applicants should have passed class 12 or any equivalent examination from a recognized board like CBSE, State Boards, CISCE, National Institute of Open Learning, etc.

    • Appearing applicants in class 12 can also apply for VTUEEE 2025.

    Nationality 
    • The candidate must be a resident/non-resident Indian national.
    • Foreign candidates do not need to apply for VTUEEE.
    Qualification Criteria 
    • Candidates from Jammu and Kashmir and North Eastern states such as Assam, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Tripura, Nagaland, and Sikkim will have to submit their 'Nativity Certificates'.

    Direct Admission

    To apply for the BTech program, candidates need to have completed their 12th grade from a recognized board. They should have scored at least 60% marks in subjects like Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry in their 12th-grade final exams or an equivalent exam.

    Lateral AdmissionIf you have a Diploma in Engineering from the State Board of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu, or a Bachelor's degree in Science with Mathematics as a subject in high school, you can apply for admission to the third semester of the BTech course.

    Exemption from VTUEEE 2025

    Applicants satisfying any of the following conditions will be exempted from taking the VTUEEE 2025 entrance examination:

    • Students who scored the first rank in 10+2 in the exams conducted by the respective States will be given admission directly into the course of their choice but subject to eligibility with 100% scholarship including the tuition fee and hostel fee for the entire course duration.

    • Candidates who failed to appear for VTUEEE 2025 on the date of the exam for any reason including loss of the hall ticket/application form in transit. Reexamination will not be held and the schedule once announced will not be changed.

    • Only those candidates who have appeared for VTUEEE 2025 and have been admitted to any of the B.Tech programmes are eligible for Mahatma Gandhi National Merit Scholarship.

    The rules for reserving seats in VTUEEE (Vel Tech Technical University Engineering Entrance Exam) follow the guidelines set by the Government of India and the university's policies. Here are the different groups that can get reserved seats:
