  • Educational Qualification: Candidates planning to enrol in Masters must pass any of the following bachelor's courses in the field of Nursing such as Graduate in BSc Nursing, BSc (Hons.) Nursing, Post Basic BSc Nursing, Post Basic B.Sc Nursing through Distance Learning. Also, the applicant must obtain a registration/RNRM certificate from the state nursing council that belongs to any state of India.
  • Minimum Marks Required: Candidates must score 55% aggregate scores combining all the years in the nursing courses mentioned above. 
  • Distance Learning: Candidates who have completed their Bachelor in Nursing Field from distance education can also apply for the JEMScN 2024 exam. 

JEMScN Eligibility Criteria 2025: Work Experience Required

Candidates applying for the JEMScN 2025 exam must have work experience in the nursing field. JEMScN Eligibility Criteria for work experience are different for state government employees and central government employees. Nursing, Post Basic BSc Nursing and Post Basic B.Sc Nursing through Distance Learning are eligible to apply to enrol in MSc Nursing courses through the WB JEMScN 2025 exam.

As per the JEMScN Eligibility Criteria 2025 set by the concerned authorities, students working for the West Bengal State Government must have at least 3 years of work experience to appear for the JEMScN 2025 exam. ESI and Central Government applicants are required to have one year of work experience for the same.
