AILET 2025 Selection Process

The AILET 2025 selection process is conducted based on the AILET exam score and the counselling process. Students who pass AILET 2025 with a good score will get a confirmation letter to participate in the counselling round for admission to the BA LLB and LLM courses. To appear for the entrance exam, students need to fill out and submit the AILET application form before the last date. After taking part in the law entrance exam, the scorecard will be released. Students who have passed the exam with high scores can then take part in the counselling round. The seat allocation will be done based on the exam score and the reservation policy followed by National Law University (NLU) Delhi. 

To become eligible for AILET 2025, candidates should prepare themselves accordingly for the exam. Through the AILET 2025 selection process, candidates can get the opportunity to study at NLU Delhi or other private colleges. AILET 2025 will be conducted on December 8, 2024, in 19 states of India. The selection process for AILET includes some important rounds. Find below the important steps included in the AILET 2025 selection process. 

AILET 2025 Application Process

The AILET 2025 application form is released by NLU Delhi on its official website, nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. Aspirants can fill out the application form by registering themselves and entering all the relevant details. They need to select the law course, BA LLB or LLM for which they are applying. 

Before submitting the form, important documents need to be uploaded with the correct specifications. The application fee of Rs 3,050 has to be paid online or offline and submitted before the last date of submission. 

AILET 2025 Results

AILET 2025 result is expected to be released within a week of the completion of the entrance exam. The exam results will be released separately for BA LLB and LLM on the official website. Candidates can download the scorecard by entering their credentials. The AILET result is released in the form of a merit list. 

The details that the AILET scorecard contains are the candidate’s name, application number, roll number, date of birth, score, rank, qualifying status, etc. 

AILET 2025 Counselling Registration and Web Options

The students who have passed the entrance exam will get the opportunity to participate in the AILET 2025 counselling process. For counselling, students have to first register by the last date. After registration, they have to pay the counselling fee online which amounts to Rs 30,000. 

Once the registration is completed and the application fee is paid, these students will be considered for the university’s provisional merit list. Students whose names appear on the provisional list might have to pay a provisional admission confirmation fee within the stipulated time. 

AILET 2025 Seat Allotment 

AILET 2025 seat allotment lists are released during the respective phases of the counselling process. From the allocation list, students will get to know the college they have been allocated. Based on this they can get admitted to the respective colleges within the timeline. The seat allotment list will be released on the official website of NLU Delhi. 

Candidates who will obtain allocation need to pay Rs 50,000 for provisional admission confirmation charges. Seat allotment will be held in multiple rounds so students who could not make it in the 1st round can wait for the next rounds of the allotment list.

AILET 2025 Reporting to Colleges

After counselling and seat allotment, students who accept the AILET 2025 seats have to confirm their seats by paying the admission fee. They have to visit the respective colleges and complete the admission process. Upgradation of seats can also be done if the conducting body accepts. For this, they have to provide the relevant documents and pay the admission fee. Students who are not satisfied with the seats or will not accept the seats can choose the exit option.
