About BHU UET Merit List 2022

The BHU UET 2022 Merit List is released by Banaras Hindu University (BHU), the conducting body of the exam that is held for admission to various UG courses every year. BHU UET merit list is issued after the declaration of its result. BHU UET 2022 Merit List is the list that includes names of the candidates, the marks they have scored in the exam and their corresponding ranks.

After the announcement of the merit list, candidates will be able to secure a seat in their respective departments. Following so, a round of counselling will be conducted for which candidates will be sent electronic call letters on their registered email ids.

• Though there will be a common entrance test for B.Ed. and B.Ed.- Special Education for each of the four groups (Languages, Science, Mathematics and Social Sciences/ Humanities),  separate merit lists for both would be prepared (containing the candidates who have applied for the two courses separately) and counselling for admission to the aforesaid courses would be conducted independently.

• Separate merit list for B.A. (Hons.) Arts and B.A (Hons.) Social Sciences would be prepared and counselling for admission to the aforesaid two courses would be conducted independently.

• If lowering down in the minimum qualifying marks is done, the merit for the programmes of BFA and BPA will be computed by preparing the merit list according to their combined marks who have secured the minimum qualifying marks in the theory as well as practical and post that those candidates will be put in the merit list on the basis of their combined marks in theory and practical tests who have obtained the minimum qualifying marks in the practical test but could not get minimum qualifying marks in theory.

• If the lowering down in the minimum qualifying marks in B. P. Ed. in Theory Paper, then the merit shall be prepared by putting in the merit list according to their combined marks in Theory Paper and Physical Fitness Test who have secured the minimum qualifying marks in the theory as well as practical and post that, those candidates will be put in the merit list on the basis of their combined marks in Theory Paper and Physical Fitness Test who have obtained the minimum qualifying marks in the Physical Fitness Test but could not get minimum qualifying marks in theory.
