CA Final 2025 Exam Pattern

The CA Final 2025 eligibility criteria are laid down by the official exam conducting body, ICAI, which conducts CA course exams in India. As per the norms, to be eligible for the next round, the previous round has to be qualified. Students who are planning to appear for the CA Final exams have to make sure that they have qualified the CA Intermediate exams with good marks and have completed the relevant articleship, practical training, courses and online modules.

CA Final Eligibility 2025: Primary Requirements

The CA exam is conducted in 3 stages: CA Foundation, CA Intermediate and CA Final. You need to qualify one stage to be eligible for the subsequent stage. However, in the case of a direct entry route, you have the option to begin directly from CA Intermediate stage.

The primary requirements to fulfil in order to be eligible for the CA Final exam are provided below:

  • You need to qualify CA Intermediate level in order to be eligible for the CA Final exams.
  • You need to score a minimum of 50% aggregate score and 40% in individual subjects in the CA Intermediate exam.
  • Moreover, you also need to complete your stipulated practical training before registering for the CA Final exam.

Detailed CA Final 2025 Eligibility Criteria

The ICAI has prescribed the CA Final eligibility norms for all students interested in applying. 

  • You need to clear all the papers from group 1 and group 2 in one sitting and score a minimum of 40% in each of the papers and 50% in aggregate of all the papers to be eligible for the CA Final exams.
  • Further, you also need to complete the Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills (ICITSS) before the commencement of Practical Training (PT) during the intermediate course, as only then will you be able to register for final exams.
  • It is also mandatory for you to undergo a Practical Training (PT) of two years as per the regulations of ICAI new scheme.
  • Furthermore, after completion of practical training, you also need to complete an Advanced Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills (AICITSS) duration specified by the exam conducting body.
  • You are required to complete self-paced online learning modules and score a minimum of 50% marks after completing the CA Intermediate exam but before appearing for the CA Final exam.
