After the declaration of DU JAT 2022 Rank List, the University of Delhi will release the Admission List of DU JAT 2022. Candidates whose names appear in the first admission list will have to confirm their admission. The DU JAT 2022 counselling process is conducted after the declaration of result. On the basis of the marks/ranks scored by the candidates in the entrance exam, a list of qualified candidates is prepared for further rounds of the selection process. Once the final merit is prepared, candidates are called to participate in the counselling process. The counselling procedure may be conducted in multiple rounds depending on the remaining seats.
Candidates achieving higher rank/marks in the merit list become eligible to participate in the counselling and get the first chance in the counselling process. The admission procedure of DU JAT 2022 remains incomplete until all the seats are filled in the counselling process. There is a maximum of 6 counselling sessions that take place in the admission procedure.
Note: For seat confirmation, candidates have to deposit the admission fee and original documents along with the admission form.
DU JAT is a popular entrance exam conducted by Delhi University for admission to Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS), Bachelor of Business Administration (Financial Investment Analysis) and BA (Hons) Business Economics.
Based on the scores obtained in the entrance test and the marks of class XII, a merit list of qualified candidates is prepared. Candidates are then allotted a total of 1,147 seats, which are available for all the three courses. The total weightage given to DU JAT entrance exam is 65% and the weightage given to Class 12 marks is 35%.
