The Foreign Medical Graduate Examination or FMGE 2024 is conducted in a computer-based mode for medical graduates. Candidates need to secure at least 150 marks out of 300 marks in the FMGE screening exam in order to be considered qualified for the next round of the selection process. Only the aspirants who will successfully qualify for the FMGE 2024 will be regarded as eligible and will be issued Provisional or Permanent Registration from the Medical Council of India and the State Medical Council. 

Candidates must note that after qualifying for the entrance examination they will be issued a certificate which they can access by using the required credentials, i.e. Roll Number and Date of Birth. Additionally, the candidates need to carry the relevant scorecard along with the mandatory documents to obtain the pass certificate from the concerned authorities. Note: There is no specific limit for the number of attempts to apply for the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE).

The first step in the FMGE 2024 selection process is filling out the application form. Candidates can access the FMGE application form 2024 from the official website. FMGE 2024 Selection Process: Exam Day Instructions

All candidates taking part in FMGE 2024 Selection Process are required to appear for the FMGE 2024 entrance exam and follow these important instructions on FMGE 2024 exam day:

• Candidates need to reach the venue at least 30 minutes before the commencement of the exam.

• At the venue of the FMGE 2024 exam centre, applicants will have to go through security procedures first. Biometric verifications will be conducted as an initial step.

• All the candidates must carry their FMGE 2024 Admit card to the test centre. Failure to do so will result in the termination of the candidature. 

• Applicants will have to carry their personal face masks, sanitizers, and gloves to the FMGE 2024 exam centre. 

• Items like smartwatches, mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, or microphones will not be allowed in the FMGE 2024 Exam hall. Personal items like pouches, purses or bags will also not be allowed in the test.

FMGE Selection Process 2024 Results

The decision-making step in the FMGE 2024 selection process is the declaration of results. NBE announces the FMGE result 2024 on its official website. Aspirants can simply head over to the website and download the document. To qualify for the FMGE 2024 exam, aspirants need to score at least 150 out of 300 to be considered eligible and to receive the provisional registration certificate by the State Medical Council (SMC) or National Medical Commission (NMC). The FMGE 2024 cutoff will be 50% of the total marks. In case a candidate is not able to qualify for the FMGE 2024 exam, then they can re-apply in the next entrance test process in 6 months.
