GITAM Admission Test 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management will publish the GITAM GAT 2025 eligibility criteria at gitam.edu along with the official notification. Candidates should review the GITAM GAT 2025 eligibility requirements for the conditions that must be fulfilled in order to take the GITAM GAT 2025 and go through the admissions procedure.

The eligibility criteria for GITAM GAT 2025 include information regarding a candidate's nationality, academic qualifications, marks, and other requirements. A candidate will not be given a seat if they do not meet the GITAM GAT 2025 eligibility requirements. If by chance, these candidates anyway submit the application, their application stands cancelled.

Eligibility Criteria for GITAM GAT 2025 in Detail

To be eligible for the examination, the candidate has to meet the following eligibility criteria for the applied programme:

GAT (UGTP) Eligibility Norms:

  • Candidate should pass the class 12th examination with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks for B.tech and 50% aggregate marks for B.Arch./B.Pharm in Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry and First Class or equivalent grade in the qualifying examination from a recognized Central / State Board or its equivalent and Rank secured in GAT (UGTP). 
  • Candidates with PCM/PCB group are eligible for B.Tech Biotechnology and B.Pharmacy with 60% aggregate marks in the group and First Class/equivalent grade.

Note: Those who want admission to the B.Arch programme should qualify in NATA / JEE (Main) paper-2.

GAT (PGTA) Eligibility Norms:

  • Candidates should have First class or equivalent grade in the Qualifying Examination from a recognized university/institute with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks for M.Tech and 50% aggregate marks for M.Arch and rank secured in GAT (PGTA).

Note: GATE qualified candidates are exempted from appearing for GAT (PGTA). However, they need to apply for admission and have to attend counselling as per the schedule.

GAT (PGP) Eligibility Norms:

  • Candidate should pass B.Pharm from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade and rank secured in GAT (PGP).

Note: GPAT qualified candidates are exempted from appearing for GAT (PGP) but need to apply and attend the counselling session as per the schedule.
