The GMAT Focus Edition's new scoring format makes it simpler to differentiate scores from previous editions. Instead of a score range spanning between 200-800, it has now been changed to a score range of 205-805. This is due to the different groups of people taking the exam and to ensure equal opportunity in scoring. A 645 is now treated like a 700. The total score is made up of three different sections that have equal marks weightage. The updated scoring structure of GMAT focus edition is further explained among the facets seen in the table.
Section | No. Of Questions | Marks Weightage | Time Duration |
---|---|---|---|
Quantitative Reasoning | 21 | 60-90 | 45 minutes |
Verbal Reasoning | 23 | 60-90 | 45 minutes |
Data Insights | 20 | 60-90 | 45 minutes |
Total | 64 | 205-805 | 2 Hours 15 Minutes |
