GPAT Counselling 2025 will commence in the online mode tentatively from August 2025. The participating institutions conduct a separate GPAT counselling session for admissions. There's no counselling committee through which admissions are given in the participating GPAT Institutes.The counselling process of GPAT 2025 consist of steps like document verification, web options entry, seat allotment and reporting at admission. Only those candidates who have successfully qualified the GPAT 2025 exam are eligible to take part in the counselling process.

Detailed Counselling Process of GPAT 2025

Candidates must follow the steps given below to participate in the GPAT Counselling Process 2025. The counselling procedure of GPAT 2025 exam majorly consists of four stage; Document Verification, Option-Filling, Display of allotted Seat in the GPAT counselling and reporting to the allotted institute, Given below is the detailed counselling process of GPAT exam 2025:

1. Document Verification Stage:
   • Candidates are required to check the rank-wise GPAT counselling dates, which will be made available on the official website after the completion of the GPAT 2025 exam.
   • It is essential for candidates to carry all the necessary documents for verification during this stage.
   • Candidates must report to the designated GPAT counselling 2025 venue as per the given schedule.
   • Failure to produce the original documents may result in the cancellation of the candidate's candidature.
2. Web Options:
   • After the completion of the document verification stage, candidates need to visit the official website for GPAT 2024 Counselling.
   • On the official website, a specific link related to the 'Web Options Entry Portal' will be provided.
   • A comprehensive list of colleges participating in the GPAT Counselling process will be displayed.
   • Candidates can fill in their preferred choices of institutes according to their preferences and priorities.
   • It is advisable to fill in a maximum number of preferences to enhance the chances of securing a seat in the desired college.
   • Once the options are finalized, candidates need to save and lock their choices.
   • After the choices are locked, no further modifications or alterations can be made.
   • Candidates are advised to take a printout of the filled choices for future reference.
3. Seat Allotment:
   • The seat allotment process will be based on the GPAT 2025 scores obtained by the candidates.
   • Candidates will be allocated seats in their preferred institutes only if they meet the merit criteria and have a good GPAT 2025 score.
   • The GPAT seat allotment order for the year 2025 can be downloaded from the official GPAT website.
4. Reporting at the Allotted Institute:
   • Once the GPAT counselling process 2025 is finished and the seats are allotted, candidates must report to the institute allotted to them within the specified timeframe.
   • Candidates need to carry the required certificates and documents for verification at the allotted institute.
   • To secure admission, candidates must pay the admission fees within the stipulated period.

Certificates Required for GPAT Counselling 2025

Along with some important documents, candidates need to submit a few important certificates during the GPAT Counselling rounds. Candidates applying from a certain category must go through the list of Certificates Required for GPAT Counselling Process, as these certificates has to be submitted during the time of admission. • Caste/Category Certificate of Students -  Candidates belonging to any other reserved categories other than the General category, need to submit their Caste/Category Certificate. The document will look something like the image given below:

• Identification Affidavit - Candidates need to submit an Identification Affidavit form validating that all the identification documents submitted by them are true to their knowledge. They need to get the document signed by any Notary. An illustration of the document is given below.

• Handicapped/Disabled Certificate - Students need to submit their government issued PwD certificate during the GPAT Counselling 2025. The certificate will look like this:
