Many Indian institutions accept GPAT scores for postgraduate pharmacy program admission. However, admission to the esteemed NIPER institutes is the sole purpose of the NIPER entrance exam.
The qualifying scores for the GPAT 2022 exam differed by category. 1,952 candidates qualified for the Unreserved category, with a cutoff of 141. 1,103 people qualified in the Other Backward Classes category, where a score of 117 was needed. A score of 95 was required for applicants from Scheduled Caste, and 626 people satisfied this requirement. Last but not least, 313 applicants met the 74-point cutoff in the Scheduled Tribe category.
In GPAT 2022, Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research University (DPSRU) student Manoj Vishwakarma received an All India Rank (AIR) 1. Gaurav Gupta of DPSRU hosted AIR 1 2023.
There are approximately 841 pharmacy colleges and more than 24,000 seats available for admission to M. Pharm programs under GPAT. A GPAT rank less than 1000 is regarded as good. Candidates can usually apply for admission to a greater number of esteemed colleges within this range.
Students who pass the exam will be able to enrol in Indian colleges that have been approved by the AICTE and accept their GPAT results. Admission to 24000 seats in M. Pharma programs offered by up to 841 participating pharmacy institutes is determined by the results of the exam.
