The HP SET 2025 exam pattern is prescribed by the Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC). There are two papers for HP SET, and the total marks for each paper is 300 with a total exam duration of 3 hours. The exam is conducted in Pen & Paper based mode with MCQ questions only.

While Paper 1 of HP SET deals with Teaching and Research Aptitude, Paper 2 deals with the subject chosen by the candidates while filling out the HP SET application form.
